Tanelorn: :eek::goodjob:
I'll start playing the scenario ... I do not know if I can add the latest units, I'll see how they evolve the barbarians, to represent the civil war that accompanied the liberation war. I hope it is good.

I definitely look forward to seeing the Greek War of Independence. I don't suppose there's been any real progress on King David, given that not many ancient units have been posted recently...

Add the playable version of War of Independence 1821. A check on you.

Patine, I have delayed this scenario pending improvements graphics. But I think it's a mistake, because the units are pretty good, so soon I will send the ToT version. I think that you can always improve afterwards.

Before you release the ToT version of v21, you might want to censor some of the Events text. Whoever designed this scenario is viciously anti-semitic. Here are some examples:

"Greek emisaries sent to England manage to secure an 800.000 pounds loan from English bankers. However their inexperience is immediatly detected by the Jewish money lenders, and are tricked to sign the loan with preposterous terms."

"Tripolis, the capitol of the Peloponeese, falls to the rebels and Greek control is stabilized in these lands.Slaughters, mainly of the traitorus hebrews and the local Turkish desidents take place."

Hello minipow, I have not seen such terms ... I hate being "censor", but I think those phrases can be modified by removing the remark offensive to a particular group, especially in the first case.
I add new version "improved".

Uh oh, I just noticed a similar problem in the w21.txt file: "The Turkish hordes of Mohamed II , aided by the traitorus hebrew community of The City..." This is not even historically accurate. There is absolutely no evidence that Jews hastened the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople.

Well, I talked to P yesterday, he said it was years ago, he doesn't hold such views anymore & its ok to change it.

Thanks Tanelorn. Well luckily no problem with the changes. Ufffff

I removed the text indicated by Minipow and I modified the term horde by armies in the txt and the evens referring to the Turks too. :coffee:

Ah, In the previous text I was modified desident by resident. It is correct?

Today I get to play on scenario. To see how the game goes. And Tanelorn (or other), if you see that you can add one more unit just tell me.

Although of course, it's purely the limits of the engine, and awkward situation happened. I tried a game as the Turks and conquered "Europe." I think maybe a nigh indestructible defensive unit that can't be moved, like I had in my cities on the edge of the map for my Mexican War of Independence scenario back in MGE for the port cities of Spain, Britain, and France, might fix this kind of problem. In my own old Vietnam scenario, it was much easier, because the North Vietnamese and Chinese had no units or mechanisms to reach the "Stateside" city on the edge of the map for the US, and likewise for the North Koreans and Chinese to the occupied Japanese cities on the edge of the map for the UN in the Korean War scenario I'm just finishing up. I thought I'd bring this up. It's been an occasional issue in a few scenarios where one or more player are fighting (or colonizing, in a few cases) on the map, but their home territory and main centre of production are effectively "off-map."

Patine I think you're right skid. I had thought to make Europe unconquerable. I will put an almost indestructible unity and I will add a feature to English and Russian, each of its units destroyed generate a new boat. With this I hope to represent the great naval power which led to the Turkish defeat at sea. What do you think?

That should work well. BTW, did you get my PM?

Here I send the latest version of the scenario. I've been changing things as I go forward in the game. I have not decided to do an indestructible unity, but yes a very tough defensive unit.

Missing graphics improvements, decide some wonder and if there are any surprises in the development of the game, but I'm seeing almost over.

Yes, that's indeed the latest version. I wasn't sure if it was still up and available online. Thank-you greatly, gapetit!

This is awesome, gapetit! Thanks greatly! You are a true asset to this community!
