[*]Frederick Barbarossa (Leader) (maybe Aggressive/Charismatic?)
Barbarossa was Emperor during the 12th century, and went on a crusade with Richard Lionheart (England) and Philipp II (France)

I added him in Leaderhead Pack 2 for Germany. I did that rather than HRE because of the war he had with the Lombard League, which during the time period, would be represented by HRE in civ.

Hm, historically, that doesn't make a lot of sense, because the Italian territories were always kinda separatistic with little influence of the holy roman emperors [which, consequently, had to invade italy several times], partly being the cause of the general instability of the whole empire.

I think Barbarossa fits the HRE much more than Germany [which, like mentioned, is more inspired by the prussian-dominated modern germany]

The instability factor is what I was going for actually. With the Revolutions component, a player playing the HRE might have to deal with the Germans rising under Fredrick Barbarossa. Also, the Vassalage civic represents local regions being autonomous. Also, the HRE does not make much sense as a civ for the reason you pointed out, instability.

There is no perfect way to represent very specific points in history in Rise of Mankind.

Yeah, but you have that backwards. the italians got independent from the HRE, not the germans.despite having "roman" in its name, the HRE does not really have any significant relation to rome or italy. other notable parts that got independent before the HRE was disbanded are switzerland and the netherlands. and with the disbanding you could say, prussia and austria got independent [the "rhine federation" was basically conquered/vassalised by napoleon], so having prussia [germany] with frederick the great as leader split off could be seen as a much better historical representation. [this could also simulate the seven-years-war, which had worldwide consequences like being a cause for the american independence]

Lol, i guess German history is a very resourceful place to generate a lot of civilizations. i think no other people can say to have formed so many civs, that were unified to spilt it up again... only to name the most important names: well we wave the Angles & Saxons, Bavarians, Goths, the Alamanni, Lombards, then there comes Francia, the Holy Roman Empire succeded by Swiss, Netherlands, Prussia, Austria yet again partially united itno Germany (or the 3rd Reich) to be divided again forming the west germany FRG and the east GDR only to be unified again... to be continued? EU? hmm thinking of it it would unify the Anglo Saxian lands, with former Francian France, the German core lands, Prussians eastern territories, the Lobardian takeover of north Italy.. would be a fine ending i guess.

each one of this can be called a civilization with it's own distinct history while they are all german in a way. anyway i don't think there are many countries with such a vivid past, hehe.

Well ,

I'd like to see some Wonders in the game: I could suggest a small list but I just would like to start with NAZCA LINES.

I suggest to include them as a World Wonder in the ancient ages, close to the Stonehange.

Something that bothers me too is the fact of Moai Satues being National Wonders. Could you imagine each single nation with them. Thats's something a little bit far from the reality. Don't you agree with me? Is that possible to change that, making them as World Wonders?

Another peruvian World Wonder thar I'd like to see in the game is Chan Chan. It's a incredible place, and should be another ancient WW.

Many different civilizations created large statues - they just weren't called 'Moai'. You can think of the big Ramses statue as the egyptish version of the Moai statues.

But maybe the relation between world and national wonders could be changed: say the first one who build a wonder get a world wonder, all other can only build/finish minor variants of it: national wonders which don't give that much bonuses. but not everyone can get every wonder: one can only build it for a certain period of time after the main world wonder had been finished.

it would be more realistic too: since when you build the Great Pyramid and you are nearly finished (just the last stone on the top misses) and another civ finishes them one turn earlyier so you just dismantle your pyramids?? despite, not that you have any chance to even notice that on the other side of the world this wonder had been build - not in the ancient era.
Nah, all your building progress should be converted into the national wonder version of the Great Pyramids which you would finish in normal time but they would grant some fewer bonuses. Considering that there are many pyraminds build by very different cultures in the world (those in south america are even larger, though not made of stone) this is more fair and realistic.

EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid

It could also be possible that the national wonders like "moai statues" could be replaced by culture-specific replacements with similar effects.

What about the Nazca Lines?
Is there any chance???

There is always a chance. However most modders would like there to be Civ suitable graphics available somewhere. If you can point to them somewhere that would help. Also what do you what it to do and what restrictions/requirements are for building.

In game all units of the same class have the same stats. Early fighter is early fighter - doesn't matter who built it or how is it called ingame mig3 or spitfire. That's historically and practically incorrect. USSR/US aviation was always superior to spanish for instance.. or egyptian. No offence there, just fact.
Request: is it possible to give bonus traits to all units of the class I build if I build many of them or if there average exp. level exceed certain point? I mean if I have long history of using fighters they should be better than fighters of others, since my developers, engineers are more experienced and so on. However, my opponent may have high class bomber or anti-air systems or navies. This could lead to specialization of civilization of some sort in terms of what kind of weapons they use.

Or am I missing something?

Not necessarily, in WWII, the Russians rarely built tanks, but their T-35's were superior to the German's Panzer, not only that but the US's Sherman tank was mass produced in higher quantities than any other nation built tanks yet they were cr*p compared to the panzer.

That's why I thought of 2 different triggers for traits: quantity or average exp.level
the Russians rarely built tanks
wiki told me there were 34 000 of T-34, 49 000 of Sherman and 5 000 of PzKpfw III + 8686 PzKpfw IV, so yes, T-34 were build massivly

After careful consideration, and bad attempts on my part to do it myself, I've decided to just request it here.

I had found designs for Korean units, and have plenty of resources for the potential creation or refinement thereof to allow for historic, ethnic accuracy of Korea. For now, I'll keep it simple by requesting that these unit packs be added.

These are just graphics so I assume you want these as graphical replacements for the standard units. zulu9812 did something similar for the Celts in his ROM Expansion mod. Did you look at what he did? It may help. I think there is also a tutorial in the tutorial section. That is what I would need to look at if I was going to do this.

I've looked at the Tutorial as well, but I'm sure I botched it up somehow. I know of the RoME mod too, but that is pretty much what I'm after here.

I also found a better LH design for King Sejong of Korea, so that shouldn't be hard to incorporate into RoM.
