Continuing...
1655 AD (4) (cont.)
I promote the grenadier on the hill bext to Saladin's stack to Guerrilla I, just in case...
1660 AD (5)
Seoul: gren -> gren
Copper town: hwacha -> hwacha
Spicy sheep: treb -> hwacha
Furry cow: gren -> continued treb
War weariness is starting to become an issue.
Sally's stack went 1NE, hiding under our gren in the hills. Is he about to declare next turn?
What happens if he declares anyway? can his units and our unit remain in the same tile? I've never come across this situation before... I save the game to do some testing later
Sending some units back to Avignon for protection. Just in case, again.
South fromt: Napo sent some units towards Lyons: A gren, an elephant and a treb. Sound more like a start of a joke than a real stack. I guess his war with Roosy is good for us!
IBT
Napo's gren and treb suicided on the city. His elephant retreated.
Well well well...
The answer is no. I guess that means he'll declare soon...
1665 AD (6)
North front:
Sally's stack has retreated for now. We should be able to regroup there to take Khazak now. I leave a few grens in Avignon. Advancing a little... Khazak has 3 rifles. Should be easy enough with our stack.
South front:
Healing in Lyons (1 hwacha is now a medic). Then I think - go for Paris! Will send a scout first.
IBT - Napo killed one of our scout chariots.
1670 AD (7)
Cowville: hwacha -> gren. MM so it is mildly starving (too unhappy now), and producing faster with higher commerce.
Napo has a new GG.
He also sent a larger stack - 3 grens, knight and treb, getting closer to Lyons.
After that one I think we can safely move forward. But first - send the 2nd chariot to scout Paris.
Paris garrison:
North front:
advancing towards Khazak. Can bombard next turn.
Moving some grens so they can reach besancon immediately (Sally's still around).
IBT
A french treb and 2 grens crashed on Lyons. No casualties for us.
1675 AD (8)
Seoul: gren -> gren (we could use a bank there, but we're busy now).
Spicy sheep: hwacha -> gren
Roosy sent a knight to help! How nice of him. He has also become friendly with us at some point.
The battle of Khazak (which is ironically "strong" in hebrew) ended quickly. We lost 1 treb and 1 gren and took over the city.
IBT
A french treb has withdrawn from combat in Lyons.
1680 AD (9)
Copper town: hwacha -> market. Immediately whipped for happiness (city was very unhappy as it was, and we have 3 out of 4 resources)
Besancon went out of resistence, whipped a theatre for 1 pop (was starving anyway, and we need the culture there).
Found conquered Phili!
1685 AD (10)
Copper Town: market->treb. Set city to growth now that it has some happy breath room.
Nobamba: theatre->courthouse (too little production for barracks to be worth it now)
Besancon: theatre->lighthouse
Will stop here.
So no declare from Sally yet, but he's stack is still around there. We have 2 grens and 2 muskets in Besancon, and 2 grens and a sword in Avignon (maybe we should add CG promotions?). Roosy wouldn't listen about cancelling his OB with Sally. Apparently they're best buds or something. Pfff. Whatever.
You can change the CH in Nobamba to something else if you think there's something more urgent.
We have a healing stack in Khazak (north) and a large stack in Lyons which is ready to move if we decide to continue the war.
We do have WW issues.
Napo is willing to talk now, and offers 480

for peace.
Maybe I bite more than I can chew here, but I think we can keep pressuring him, and take 1 or 2 of his core cities. Not sure which, though...
Research was almost completely stopped in my turnset due to different priorities. We should probably consider changing these priorities once we make peace. We still have a GS in Seoul, ready to bulb most of PP.
I have woken up some workers so they can handle the newly acquired tiles.
North (stack in Khazak is selected):
South (stack in Lyons is selected):
A long report... that's war for ya'.
Terrance, it seems like you're next
