Maybe you have some leftovers in the cache folder, or in the My Games folder?

Try clearing these folders:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\My Documents\My Games\Warlords
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\My Games\Warlords
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\My Games\Warlords

And don't forget to update to the latest patch (2.13, I think).

I tried begging for some gold from Roosy a few turns ago. Wouldn't budge. Forgot to mention this... Maybe now that we're friendly he will.
We can build wealth somewhere (Cowville?).

So we keep waring, and take Orleans/that hidden city W/sw of Khazak?

I don't think the north stack will be enough for more than 1 city.
I sent the newly built units south. Should we try for Paris? Should we use the south stack for Orleans (probably better for us)?

That's probable it, sometimes just an uninstall (run ccleaner afterward to clear out any leftovers) then re-install update to 2.13

The North stack, combine it and the South stack. although it would give Louis time to reinforce, could start with the South group heading to the capitol while the North group brings up the rear.

We should probably raze a city or 2 (I'm not sure we can afford to keep them all) instead of keeping them. Maybe I should have done so myself. The hidden city maybe?

I left 2muskets/3grens/3hwachas in Lyons but Louis snuck a stack in while our stack will take Orleans (raze) next turn.

2muskets/3grens/3hwachas looks like enough to handle the rifle/4knights/elephant/treb stack (just use a couple of hwachas, if they can move). But is there a 2nd stack where I see a catapult on the map?

If I remember correctly, we have a couple of LB's in Nobamba. You can move them to Lyons, just in case.

Orleans is a holy city. I know I said razing cities, but I kinda thought of keeping Paris and Orleans...

If so, then yes, pull a few (2 grens, a knight and 2-3 hwachas?)
If not - I guess Orleans is a priority, and we should raze it so we can use the units to take Lyons back.

it has 3 rifle/3 grenade/phant/treb. the defense i mentioned was before he hit it it, i'll bring in those 2 LB, try to raze orleans
