Were your paladins upgraded from Priests, and thus had Channeling promotions? Those make a unit less likely to defend.

Yep that's it. Heh I suppose my paladins don't really need destroy undead anyways...

I usually have paladins long before I get mithril though... mithril is so expensive...

You would lose Mithril. Fairly recent addition of that fact though.

Personally, I think my name should be used in naming a Barb Hero or maybe a fourth Stooge.

How will the next version be for monks? It hurts low level monks (pre lvl 6) so much to only have 4/6 damage.
