Monthly competitions submission thread

After much internal debate on the issue, I've decided to stick with the Hag Leaderhead as my submission for the month. I appreciate the support of my skeletons, and I know I might lose some votes that I might have got as a result, but I really do think that the time and complexity that I put into the Hag deserves to be what I would like to submit to represent my LHs for the month. I had considered the pirate skeleton, but I'm not overly happy with the background (I prefer computer animated to match LH), and the deciding factor was, as R8XFT pointed out, the number of downloads. Although the Hag may have had more downloads as a result of curiosity, it did nonetheless help sway my decision.

Anyways, as it appears to only be R8XFT and I for this month, good luck to you, Rob. Let the best 'babe' win.

Personally, that you are deciding to use the hag instead of the skeleton makes me want to vote for you more as you are choosing the one you worked hardest on and is most complicated instead of just going for the one most likely to win,

I think that's a good plan. A while back I was wondering whether to submit my Franciscan Friar or my Dominican Friar; most people seemed to prefer the Franciscan, but the Dominican had taken far, far more work, so I submitted that one. It won, so clearly the moral is to go with the one you want to go with!

Well, I like my unit and naturally would love to win... but I don't like my odds. Non-human units never get as many votes. Look at Aaglo. Always one of the best units not always one of the top vote getters. But, I don't care. It's halloween. I wanted a monsterous entry. Trolls are the big local scary, so I made one of those. Was alot of fun.

But, you are right. It is an unusually top-heavy field this time. Many good units for the voters to choose from.
