Looking at these pictures I am convinced that each Civ has two coloured lines. One to represent culture. The other territory. EG culture + what you have bought.
If you look at the 4th picture you can clearly see 4 colours boardering each other (purple and yellow + red and white)

I think that each civ's border is just two colors (red/white = England; purple/yellow = Rome);
Also, notice in the 6th picture (Rome City Screen):
1) Upper left - "76 turns until a new Citizen is born"; Also, "1 turn until border growth"
2) Middle Right - Love the new interface for "Manual Specialist Control", it shows specialist by building.
3) Lower Right - "Granary (Free)
I love the way the battle is set up in that first shot...certainly an epic battle for Newcastle! It also looks interesting how the city art for Newcastle is displayed, it looks like it covers two tiles?
Hmmm, just a guess, but it seems that Pyramids are back to just providing free granaries in every city . If so then that's pretty lame-I would have preferred a similar effect as in Civ4, though obviously modified for the existence of Social Policies.
Aussie.
EDIT: Also noticed that temples are generic again (as I kind of guessed they would be). Am pretty disappointed by this development still!
Also noticed that a theater is *not* considered a specialist building. Does this mean the end of Artists & Great Artists? That also does *not* make me happy !
I think everyones borders are say green/white or red/white basicly "insert color/white. The one screen with purple/yellow is a city screen, and I believe the yellow is around the cities workable tiles. Therefore when you leave the screen it's back to purple/white.
