More Civilisations

I'm beginning to think it could just be your imagination, given your reaction to the other icon too

You can't see it?

Is this Greek pack going to use Irkalla's work?

Yes, at least in part. Irkalla's Sparta will be included pretty much unchanged (there's only a new civ icon), while Athens have been thoroughly redesigned and Macedon will have to be overhauled too - its current UA is too similar to the Goths, and quite frankly, much weaker.

Wow, I won guess the civ game.
Exactly, congratulations :) Good luck with future guess-the-civs :D

I hope Thrace has Byzantium in its city name list to add even more mess to Constantinople-Istanbul confusion.

Lygos was Byzantion
It was Augusta Antonina, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Kostantiniyye
Why did İstanbul get the works?
That's nobody's business but the Turks/Romans/Byzantines/Thracians/Illyrians/Ottomans

Thanks for your hard work, modders. I tried to play as Tuscany today and the UA did not seem to be functioning. There was no bonus to my golden age when I finished building a wonder, and acquiring an Amphitheater and the Garden replacement did not trigger the spawning of any Great people. I have a few other new civilization mods, a few new wonders, and an enhanced UI mod running (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=512263), so I don't think they should interfere. Has anyone else been having trouble with the UA triggering? I am running BNW with version 1.0.3.144

Edit: I noticed an earlier post in the thread that said their culture UI mod interfered with the Tuscany mod because of CultureOverview.lua. I noticed another one of the civilizations I added also has this file in its folder, so might that cause it?

Edit2: I tried testing with just the Tuscany mod and IGE mod running and tried testing the UA again that way and again confirmed that nothing worked for me.

Depends on which one... if it was one of my civs we're using the same CultureOverview lua thing so it shouldn't matter.

Thanks Leugi, yes it was one of yours. Since I've never messed with custom civs before I wasn't sure if the problem was some obscure setting on my computer preventing the UA from working. I tried to make the UA work for your Benito Juarez Mexico and confirmed that it worked fine. So it just seems to be a problem with Tuscany for me.

Are you using any mods besides Tuscany?

I was before, but as I said, I tried it again just using the In Game Editor and the Tuscany mod in order to test to see if there was interference from other mods, and still had the same problem. Unless the IGE also interferes with the Tuscany mod, I am out of ideas.

If you're using IGE to test it, be aware that it actually only triggers when you start your turn or if you exit the city screen. It won't actually trigger immediately after getting the building.

Thanks, what I did was to start building an amphitheater (with a Writer's Guild already built, just in case) or a wonder and then use IGE to hurry production and clicked next turn and still had nothing happen. I really want to try this Civ out for some reason, so I'm gonna wipe my installation and start from scratch and see if that changes anything.

Yup, it must have been some kind of issue with my install. Everything is functioning perfectly after reinstalling!

Just played a game with Phoenicia. It was very well done, and I liked how the UA still focused on trading without being a copy of Morroco's. Now...............*giant puppy dog eyes* I don't suppose you guys would consider doing Scotland?

Almost done, just the final layers of polish and screenshots yet...

Looking good! Can't wait to see the finished rework of India and steal some artwork and ideas...:)!!
