More Scenario trouble

I have finally finished my scenario, but it want start! I pull up my Windows Task Manager and it says that it is locked up? Anyone know what I should do, it only happened after I put in all the city improvments.

Have you given it enough time? A lot of scenarios take more than 10 minutes to load.

Probably a file error, most likely in the pediaicons.txt or civilopedia.txt. Double check your entries for improvements.

Yes, you have some sort of error there, good luck finding out what's causing it. It's not unusual for the .bic/bix file to become corrupted if you mess with it.

A piece of advice, don't do everything all at once. Make a few changes then test it to see if it works first. If it does, use it as a basis for a whole new file; like Version Two or some such thing, then do it all over again with some additional changes. That way if something screws up along the line, you can always back track to a previous version, and it makes it much easier to troubleshoot the cause if you run into a problem.

The last time I redid my mod, after running into problems like yours, I had maybe a dozen versions available, at various stages of development. It saved me alot of headaches in the end.
