This is actually a calendar that was proposed a long time ago... so long ago that when I wrote a term paper about calendars in my high school anthropology course in 1979, it's one version of the "perpetual calendar" that had been proposed. The idea was to take the inconsistency out of the calendar; if a date-specific event fell on a particular day and month in one year, it would always fall on that particular day and month.

Second, that was Neil Armstrong who said that, not Buzz Aldrin. So Buzz has no accountability for what Armstrong said and I, in my official capacity as the King of all wut Muricans thinkses, disavow Armstrong's reference to mankind on Aldrin's behalf.

I'm running on very little sleep today. You're going to have to explain it.

And I'm fully aware that it was Armstrong who said those words. But it was a team effort to get there.
