Most forgettable Soviet republic

Come on, it’s one of these…

Am I the only one who remembers all of these?
Can be just the one you think of last. You didn't forget it, just took you the longest to remember to list it. Unless you can just rattle them all off instantly without a moment's hesitation.... well then, good for you.

Mongolia. They forgot to join the Soviet Union,
They didn't forget, they tried to but were refused. And, the refusal wasn't because of restraint from the USSR (as potentially implied when this topic came up in another thread, but was off-topic in that thread, and perhaps offtopic in this thread, but I've been itching to respond to that statement, but not wanting to start a whole new thread about it).

Mongolia was more useful to them as a compliant puppet (like current day Belarus is) than to increase the chances of conflict with China. Current day Mongolia not the puppet to Russia like it was to the USSR.

For me, it’s always the Tajiks that come in last. Kazakhstan is big, Uzbekistan is populous, Turkmenistan is… there, and Kir… Kyrg… that other one I can’t spell.

Tajikistan doesn’t stand out to me at all. It’s nothing personal.

I think Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan is the only Persian speaking former Soviet country among all the Turkic ones. Moldova is Europe’s poorest country.

Well, no-ones mentionned Tannu Tuva so presumable it must be pretty forgettable....

The -stan countries are all notable for having cool names; therefore it is Moldova

What's the most strange is that everybody forgot about Nukehavistan, the country which may possess nuclear weapons!

Hmm...... Probably would've Belarus until recently, now maybe... Azerbaijan?

If it's just the poll options then probably a tossup between Moldova and Tajikistan.
