Most worthless unit in the game?

In Conquests: Modern Paratrooper!

Too late, too redunant ... can you imagine a situation that you could handle better with Modern Paratroopers than with any other unit? Not me!

I have yet to use the helicopter. The explorer is actually very good for pillaging.

Send out an army with five explorers, and you can pillage any five tiles two tiles away or three tiles away in the direction that the army is moving. And yes, it's in C3C, but also in vanilla.

Or just send them in on a solo mission! Don't expect your explorers to be home for supper. Kind of suicide mission but quite powerful strategic tool.

spearman...

When playing a fast domination victory: yes, you're right!
I seriously got a civ2 conquest victory in ~3200 BC. In this game, tanks would have been useless.

Well all boats but transport and currags

Not quite. The Enslave for the Man-o-War partially makes up for it.

The Chasquis is a more useless UU. The Man-O-War is great because of it's increased bombard and enslavement, not to mention that it basically has the strength of a Knight against bowmen.

The Carrack is the first 2-attack ship not counting the Dromon, so it is worth something.

F-15 is the "least used" UU, not the most “useless” UU ;) . The most useless UU was the vanilla civ3 MoW. It had to be build from scratch and its usefulness lasts for about 20 turns.

In C3C, I vote for stealth fighter as the most useless unit. It comes too late; it isn’t a fighter; it’s not as effective as a bomber; and it also has to be built from scratch. There is reason to build them, and there is no way to upgrade to them.
