I'm going to be out of town Oct. 1 - Oct. 5. I'm taking my laptop, but I'm not quite sure if I will have internet access. I expect I will have access in the lobby of the hotel if nothing else. At the very least I will queue my moves in case I am unable to log in.

Elkad is correct. Hamachi makes connecting very easy in all circumstances for me so far.

Would it be possible to restart a new civstats so that i can register my leader? It is exceedingly annoying not being able to use civstats for diplo.

I already asked him that and he said he couldn't do it. funny thing is i reverted to ai for some turns and you would think that would kick me from civstats too. apparently not.
