MP Game - RewriteHistory - 18civ EARTH map historical start position

Seems like he have a sub in another game i am playing in.. maybe he forgot to get a sub in this one?

Hi Provolution had set himself up for about 20 turns in advance. I assumed he had told the game controller rather than just his neighbours....

It would have been nice had he told one of those on his continent that he was going away. Perhaps one of us could have taken over for him.

Well he told me :p But as I was going away for a few days I could not have subbed for him even if he had asked - which he didn't. Not sure it would have been allowed anyway.

Now we will have the fool AI trampling all over the agreements....

Would be better to just reload before he was kicked so his prearanged turns could play out maybe?

I have no problem with carrying on. I don't suppose the AI can cause too much trouble in about 10 turns or so. But then Classical is much closer than me to the Aztecs geographically ;)

It will be Provolution who is upset but if he didn't tell the host then I suppose that is more his fault than anyone elses.

But I wouldn't actually get a permenant replacement for him. He is due to return in a week or so.

Of course if Oyzar is offering to step in and play the Aztecs for a while that would be great :) He has already played another power in this game but it was Classical (American Indians) so there should be no one disadvantaged/exploited by it. He can't really exploit or give away the information he knows as they both 'know' it anyway. As Classical and Provolution are neighbours and both would benefit by the Aztecs NOT being played by the AI....

I don't have time to play another pitboss right atm...

so what can i get the registration password for your other civstats thingy?
i think the password for civstats was "history" also, not sure, but worth a try.

Well I know that he had a settler that the AI moved away from where he wanted it settled.

The civstat pw could also be earth.

EDIT. I cannot get into the game. The timer has timed out.

The server will be down at least a day or two. I had a crash this morning and it will no longer boot. It's going into the shop this evening. My fear is that my hard disk is fried. I may not be able to recover the save.

Where would I look for a save? Only thing I found that looked close was in
...\My Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\Saves\multi\auto
Only saves in there are either months old, or from a different pitboss game

Everyone should have one from the last time they logged in, called "Recovery_yourname.Civ4blablabla", in the folder elkad pointed out
unless you're in multiple pitboss games, in which case I guess it wouldbe for the last game you logged into
