MrB4...Beyond the PC Problems

.. my correct titile is Mr. President at the moment and Duce very soon :mischief:
Ohh, yes, lead our happy police state to glory :D

Flight and some fighters is better than MGs, those Airships will die like flies, I would rather build Marines and then Paras in secondary cities, but mostly Panzers in the main ones.

Check S-Mans techs before we switch to battleships, currentyl destroyers are better (cheaper, faster and sufficient for coastal bombardement and hunting down all those wodden ships).
1-2 cities (I think currently it's Ankara or Konya) should build them exclusively (with the dry-dock bonus).

Bear also in mind that current troop stationing is not ideal for war against S-Man, most of the troops are just awaiting orders (collceted in central regions like Theben and Pi-Ramses) because they would have been too late for the nothern war against Egypt anyway.

I would take all cities as we don't want any motherland unhappiness left over, we can always raze junk cities.
A few spies would be nice so that we have something to work when our GSpy infiltrates S-Man (currently he is better used as scout).
An last but not least, only draft in non-production cities (preferable cities that work the nearly useless coast tiles).

A brief summary:
Flight and mil. sci. is here, revolt has taken place
S-man already has a few Cav and rifles, we have inf., tanks and fighters... We lost our privateers to Brennus frigates within 2 turns
We are once more villain becaus S-man wanted to grab Giza with AP . In return we have found Gems :D
Questions: 1GG left for Mil.Ac. (Istanbul + Delhi have one; IW City builds already 1 Inf/turn or 0.5 tanks maybe we build elsewhere or we create our "super tank" :mischief: West point is open: does it pay off, or too late (my feeling)??

War is prepared (see screenies), 2 fighters are already overseas. I drafted like 9 Inf., I´m not sure if we really have the potential to fully get 3/turn without creating problems...

North: Stack with CR Inf, Cannons, few Cav is ready to go offense
Destroyers are there to gain XP (super destroyer) and to bombard southern city

South: 1st stage: play defensively with cannons + some inf, advance with rest of inf + tanks to city that is beseiged on eastcoast with destroyers Bombard R... (western coast) for some decoy + preparation for 2nd stage; prepare invasion of westcoast (Marines from sea, tanks from north)
2nd stage: march with cannons + inf. and what is left from north; invade from w-coast

Brennus: 6 tanks + 2 destroyers are there; we have short supply routes anyways
don´t forget his lonely city on "our" island in the south.

My vote: we attack simultaneously next turn, WW is hardly an issue, and S-man has just started to upgrade to Cav/Rifles; also Giza is likely to flip

So: have a look and then we advance when we agree on the next steps

Hi
nice turns, I can´t wait to set our infantry and tanks to war!

I looked at the save and have some questions before I start:
Begin immideately with war or wait until more fighters / destroyers / tanks arrived?
upgrade galleons ?
build airports?
whats the plan with the GGs ? Supertank?
does barrage pay off now or not?
Can you give me some quick tips on teh fighter strat? are we just securing air with patrols or are we also going to conduct some bombing missions?
I think that brennus and his ally will upgrade and have a number of rifles if we declare, so it doesnt look as an easy cake to take as some turns before, but we are on the upper edge

I await your suggestions and will play tomorrow

Looking good, we are strong enough, let's declare.
I would switch in a few fighters (for example Theben, no state religion present so no additional experience for the unit anyway).
And build a few spies also, we will need them.

With war weariness a non-issue, we can go on the offense very fast. Also, cities won't flip immediately, once there is the first revolt, station additional units, then, when the front moves forwards, you can move on.

Don't forget to sink the Galeon from Gilga this turn with the privateer in the west.

Up to Generalquartiermeister batter

X-post with batter.

Don't wait, they still have a lot of outdated stuff, onwards, trumpeter!
We have only a few fighters, so use them for interception mission till all the Airships are dead, build more fighter (switch a few current builds) and then use them to soften up target cities.
Minmize infrastructure, focus on units.
Draft additional infantry in non-production cities selectively.
Don't upgrade things we don't need (like ships) but protect the galleons in harbours.
Last, don't waste GGs on single units, build more military academies in the top production cities, it's all about hammers now.

Three things I saw when I had another look at the save for further advice:

I just saw Brennus ia already S-mans vassal, I forgot that happened some time ago. Maybe we play too slow.:mischief:
Don´t forget to cover our Galleons with destroyers as Brennus and S-man have frigates (one is currently built, you have the super destroyer that could move westwards and one of the 2 on S-mans Westcoast could be spared as well).
Third thing: I didn´t set the fighters on intercept mode (button on the left), we want to get rid of those pesky airships... Later on you can use to bombard, of course

I think you really have some interesting turns ahead, maybe after setting up the plan it´s just mop-up for me left :(

Edit: XXX-post with batt and belisar

I just saw Brennus ia already S-mans vassal, I forgot that happened some time ago.
I mentioned it in my report, it was the first thing that happened when I pressed enter, might have scared him

So, I played until we had Radio (7 turns I think), and look what is left:

Brennus: -4 cities, 3 more to go (harder nut to crack- had like 20 Rifles and a bunch of frigates), Tanks in position (some on transportation):goodjob:

S-man: -8 cities, 9 more to go,:goodjob: fighters, tanks and destroyers in position, some Infantry and cannons mixed in, front on the march, army was consolidating and refreshing last turn

I left all units to move for the next player, also tech and switching production (changed to bombers now) is not deermined yet, but I think Belisar will have some clean-up fun on the S-man Continent

Enemy has no air or sea power left

... some mistake: I forgot about using our warlords

btw : THANKS FOR THE NICE BUILD UP OF OUR ARMY!

I had a look at the save, military situation overall looking good,
we have a small but increasing Air-Force and already a few Panzerkorps :goodjob:

Some details:
Please protect galleons (I found several with panzers on board, one next to an AI frigate.
Army coordination has "room for improvement", several units are idle way behind the front (infantry in old Ramses-land, panzers on our island south).
I found only a single! spy

;)

Ok, time to advance :cowboy:

Nice turns, seems I just will have left the last rubbles of S-man and Brennus.
A couple of thoughts:

- I see unhappy faces in some of our core cities remember: only happy people are productive people, feed them with some more luxuries so they don´t think about their relatives falling at the front for our imperialist politics

- If S-man crumbles: start shipping troops to G-man so we can strike at Izzy at once if we see we don´t have enough from Brennus and S-man for domination. CR3 tanks can take on rifles with city defense + cultural defense. I´m not sure as I hardly ever have warfare that late: can we airlift to G-man and can we station bombers in his cities? In that case we should build some airports. Otherwise: build transports + carriers with fighters
From the Spanish westcoast we could strike with destroyers + marines on transports and ship what is left from the S-man campaign.

Yea, we can station our forces in Gilga's land.
However, I don't think we should waste our production on Airports this late, we can build a few more ships.
I agree that AirForce is a priority now, we won't even need a lot of marines as CR3 tanks do just fine after the destroyers have cleared the defense.
I played 2 turns already, spent a lot of time to organize the forces
