Played the first 8 turns, I'll do the rest in a few hours.

Firstly switch to masonry, and re-micro the cities.
I know what you were thinking with the 4-cities Spell, but it means we don't get out a GE before they're reset, which IMO is huge.
Also a bunch of cities were stagnated below the cap, which I presume is related to the religion swap.
OB/map trade with elohim:

They've explored a ton, which is nice :)
Typical AI idiocy:

Got the +1 food event on a floodplains farm shared by the two cities!
Best. Place. Ever.
Pity it'll dissapear after my turnset :(
Microed to get the settler EoT92, and the GE EoT98:

Disadvantage of the golden hammer spell:

ORTHUS IS COMING!!!
I'll have 4 warriors in there, and can easily 1-turn a few more.
Worrth it for the axe :)

Part 2 coming...

Part 2:

We lose two warriors, one to Orthus, and one attacking out:

Result?
18xp+Orthus' axe!

We also lost two warriors killing those pesky goblins :(

I founded this city:

It sucketh, but its the best thing pre-BW.

Speaking of which, I think we should consider bulbing BW with this guy:

Our next cities are all going to be buried in jungle and by my estimates we're 25 turns away.

I had to make some stupid descions because of the switch, thats why we've no cities on setllers and I'm saving gold.

Anyway we rolled:

Hannah the Irin of the Lanun!
Thats so awesome its almost like I'm rigging it...

Rigging it would mean scoring the Kurios or Calbim. :p

Anyways, can we wait for Akatosh and make some 50 turn goals before starting the next round?

Looking over the photos: Nice job, Brian! Way to bring it home Q. We just need the save now. :)

I've sent it to Merovech ;)
I'd say Kuriotates would suck...and lanun is better then calabim atm as we need the commerce and our next few cities will be coastal.

What do people think about Fishing->CoL->BW (bulb smelting?)->philosophy (Rush Bone palace?)

Better to get Kurios now than later. Think massive production, and special happiness buildings while dropping settlements without maintenance. Financial is fun, but we won't get much from coastal cities this round, I predict.

Financial isn't fun, remember that EitB nerfs it.
Oh and we need to remember that our cities will be unhappy now that they've lost enchantment mana.
I think we'll be able to pump out a few (2-3) coved cities by the end.

Its still fun, we just need to stop running 100% science to get the most out of it. :)

Tech priorities, CoL then fishing? Absolutely use one of the engineers for bronze working. Its a shame Guybrush Threepwood is a higher level hero...

The Elohim capital is on the coast, right? What do you all think about running over there with bronze warriors, use our worldspell to kill the defenders, and then move in?

Just a question, whats the bulb priority for engineers? Could we get to iron working NOW if we blow all of them on tech?

Edit: I followed the bulb order, getting iron working is not feasible.

one of overlooked aspect of kurio settlements is ....trade routes...

Worldspell won't kill them outright, so I don't think we'll be strong enough.

Really? I just played a MNAI game, and the AI took out all of my seaside warriors with the spell.

The worldspell has no limit, but the average is something like 75%.
That's why its most powerful against units already collaterald (have a look at the end of FFHpbem2 to see that in action).

Hey, I might be missing something, but I don't think Q actually sent me the save, just a message saying that he sent me the save. Apologies for not noticing earlier. Q, if you resend me the save tomorrow, I can edit it tomorrow night.

Nice work Q, only two warriors lost to Orthus, I often end up throwing away four.

Regarding my pictures, a) Orthus reminds me of Jar-Jar Binks, and b) you should've seen my art-work for the High to Low SG a few years ago.;)

Alright, so we have a new civ! Two things: I did not change the palace and I did not give seafaring as a free tech (but if ya'll want to research it, you can, and it only costs 1 beaker). If you want me to change either of these, I will be happy to do so. Sorry for the delay.

I think we should get the palace, but not seafaring (otherwise well just have to build the palace each time and I consider the lanun palace a lanun benefit, rather then something we should be able to keep on).
We should wait for everyone else to chime in of course :)
