OOC: I am disappoint. It was not the fate of Flanagan to die now and that way, but to bow before the other leaders of this world, knowing himself inferior to them.

Anyways, karma is karma. Shikataganai.

~

To the Emperor of the Imperium of Manx

When my eldest Raziel told me that you had written directly, I immediately decreed that I would return the honour. It is only befitting that we talk directly. Your priests are wise to warn you, if I was a mere mortal human then my feasting would be the height of sin. But sentients of our station know that all are not created equal, whether in race, bloodline or status. Vampires feast. Humans eat. That is the way of things.

Maintaining order is easier when one acknowledges the imperial truth that some were meant to rule. An alliance of such enlightened rulers is destined, but we would wish Tropico to drop its veneer of political correctness if you wish to create a trifecta of defensive pacts. We are sure underneath the iron glove is a righteous new bloodline waiting to emerge into a new Kingdom.

As to your problem of overpopulation, we are always willing to thin the herd. Especially of such disgusting low class stock. Prisons, as you call them, do not exist in the Empire of Blood. When part of your population is eternal in age you can see things long term. Which helps in planning. But also helps you make choices that cut to the heart of the matter. Redemption is through action or time. We will offer your criminals the same choice we offer law breakers here. Death, or a job at the Blood Bank for life.

If you wish for a more Immediate Defensive Pact please contact us more privately, to enter into such a intimate relationship we would need to discuss our plans for the future and how they can work together.

We leave you with this saying, a Vampire proverb on friendship, a human interaction. Vampires are all bloodkin to an extent.

Friendship is held to be the severest test of character.
It is easy, we think, to be loyal to a family and clan,
whose blood is in your own veins.

Signed, in blood
Kain, the Vampire Proginator and Emperor of Blood

We'd recommend against this, considering they are on thin ice and likely to be attacked soon if they do not hand over NewFoundland.

Emperor Gilmore Flanagon was a tyrant and a warmonger. But he was (was he?) a human, so rest in peace.

Caliph Rologhine ibn Firi demands an investigation regarding the sinking of the ship. The investigation team should consist of Papal, Manx, Algerian, Bosnian, and an UN investigator. Otherwise, no one died today that will be missed.

Furthermore, due to recent events, all Bosnian trade ships must submit themselves to search entering and leaving Algerian waters. This comes in light of recent events, and the action will be lifted within a few weeks.

To Pius XXV

We are in mourning of our Emperor are ever eager to revise ourselfs as a empire. My son-in-law may have proven to be... questionable at times with his ego and his harsh taking on things, we must remember his virtues too, epsecilly in his hard work to improve the ecomony of the Imperium of Man, his love of his family and his devotion to guarding the faith, even if he may have planned a defence pact with the Empire of Blood. Anyrate though our issue will be on finding out the assassins behind the murder of my lovely Rein's husband.

As for for my grandson I hope he rules with wisdom and virtue. He may still be lacking fully in geograthy skills but I have hired a proffessor of geograthy to help educate Magnus on mapping skills, so he should be able to point to the location of Yeelime for example. As for his characture I hope Lonan's teaching of him as gone well... although I wonder why he vanished so sudden. Since he left before the assassination of our leader there is questions raised. Let we must not come to conclustion yet. We must instead remember Gilmore and honour his successor, who by God I hope will lead us to a more improved relation with the Papal States.

Looking forward to heal our relations viva a return to trade.

To Hanna Antilles

Thank for your condolences. I wish my father was not as harsh to you as he was but still he in the end came more respectful to you in the end. I hope we can find freindship through this tragic occurence.

May we meet as sovereigns in the near future.

Magnus Flanagon, the now Emperor of Man.

Emperor Gilmore Flanagon was a tyrant and a warmonger. But he was (was he?) a human, so rest in peace.

To President Hifikepunye Pohamba

While we are divided greatly, it seems this moment may be a chance of peace. Let us have a reset relationship as nations. I have no desire for hostilities and tention brings hostilities. I hope we can find a way to have a healthy relationship.

May we meet as sovereigns in the near future.

To the Canadian leadership.

You still commence warmongering plans as we lost Gilmore to the sea?! What disrespect! The Imperium, ever more then ever eager for peace, is tragic found that you speak of war in these sad times. We especilly as Gilmore, for his admitted reputation, was trying to reach a settlement for your nation, a agreement that the single province of Newfoundland was a single provence that the Manx should be allowed to own. As for the defence pacts... the point was to deter attack.

Anyrate with the new Emperor's plans to heal relations with other power it would be unwise to take advantage of our mourning and attack us. We will not likely turn the other cheek if invaded. We are though likely to trade with those who are in peace with us.

Consider peace over war and the young Emperor might find a solution we can both agree on. Next year he will be 16, his regency to end quite shortly. As his regent I urge you to permit him to speak to you with rational consideration. He will be able to speak without my guidence as a regent then. Consider this well instead of plotting war.

May you take the path of peace over war.

To Caliph Rologhine ibn Firi

The Imperium of Man is thankful for your demands. We are to set out who caused this most dark of assassinations. We are in tragic lost of our Gilmore. We must miss also the crew of the vessel and others on board, including the Duke of Cornwell, whose sister will mourn while taking the title of Dutchess of Cornwell. Hopefully we should discover the true cause of things.

May we work together well on this matter.

Young Vedran from the Sarajevan Department of Water and Power (SDWP) has put himself forward as Sarajevo's ambassador and investigator in regards to this debate. He claims that he will represent the will of Mr Srećko Adamić to the best of his abilities in this situation. he also maintains the usual Sarajevan position that Mr Adamić will not be available to speak to and neither will he be in direct communication with other leaders during this time.

Young Verdan also laments over the apparent lack of trust between Sarajevo and Algiers and complains that he has yet to see any good reasons for this breach of confidence with Sarajevan traders.

We can have again friendly relations. Our main problem was that while we had send a secret message to your father about our expansion in Australia, he gave it to NZ and they threatened us. That's why we blockaded them.

We would like an apology. Other than that, we think that our relations will become better.

While remaining neutral on the matter I should point out that the sins of the father should not be the burden of the sons. Magnus is unable to give a apology as he is not Gilmore. Magnus will though wish to set trade relations.

May we be in peace.

We accept a trade agreement.

As I see, the son is smarter and a better diplomat than the father.

Its almost as if someone planned it.
Or pretended to plan it.
Or isn't really sure if they planned it or not depending on an IC or OOC perspective.

We want NewFoundland. We are willing to pay for it. We offered ten gold for the one territory. We asked you to counter if that was insufficient.

To the Canadian goverment.

We are not intrested in giving up Newfoundland, even for gold or threats. If we are not intrested in selling, then we are not intrested in selling. We have developed Newfoundland too much for us to give it up. The Emperor hopes you understand as Canada is a big place and Newfoundland is a isle on the coast of Canada that be a mere one province. We have no othe colonial plans in Canada, for Newfoundland is enough for us. It is too small to go to war over.

Young Emperor Magnus wants peace. He is willing to organise trade. He is even willing to make some concessions on the "Civilization Mission," allowing the teaching of Canadian customs in Newfoundland schools if you agree not to invade our land. Your companies are permitted in Newfoundland as ours be in your realm. It is the Imperium way of buisness.

Consider the path of peace and the virtures of befreinding the young Emperor Magnus.

Canada would kill a thousand of your children for one of our own. You hold our people hostage, and your "One province" nonsense is merely an excuse to let our own people be enslaved by Manx.

We are not warmongerers. We are a peace-loving people that does not want you in our territory.

Manx is a European Country. You have NO claim to North American land.

All North American nations should oppose this atrocity. We should be allowed to peacefully draw our own borders, as Canada has done with both our neighbors to the South and our New English neighbors. Yet here foreign powers sit, using our children as slaves to their colonial empires.

Will North America stand by and allow this injustice to occur? Canada will not.

We are taking NewFoundland next turn. If your soldiers are there, we will kill them. Consider this your last warning.

If any of my North American neighbors are willing to back me up... if this comes to violence I will compensate you for your soldiers. If not, I will gladly thank you for your help and give you a small donation for your efforts.

If not, Canada will willingly stand alone, either to reunite its countrymen or to die.

We are still willing to peacefully purchase, if you are not inclined towards warfare.

Keep in mind that as soon as we seize NewFoundland you will no longer have any foothold on North American soil. Any further attacks by you will have the same difficulty as outright transcontinental invasions. Franco Wells and David Baker will not stand for your aggressions. Nor will the Canadian people.

Make peace, or prepare for war.

Our main problem was that while we had send a secret message to your father about our expansion in Australia, he gave it to NZ and they threatened us. That's why we blockaded them.

On the contrary, we did not threaten you, as evidenced by the transcripts we supplied the last time you made that accusation. Indeed, we were merely politely informing you that your actions were unneccesary and may cause tensions, which they clearly have.

-warmongering statement-

To the Canadain goverment

Your threatening a empire in mourning. A empire that had commenced the claiming of Newfoundland in 2050 without opposition and has made Newfoundland a part of the overall Manx nation. Once again we suggest you look at reason and strive for peace. We do not wish to spill the blood of Canadians, nor are we intrested in claiming more Canadian land. Let your aggression encourages those among the most warning of lords, ever divided over their opions of the previus Emperor, unite in note that your attack against us would result in us seeing your nation as a threat to imperial security and commencing the removal of your country for the safety of the Manx Imperial Realm. We could summong our freinds in the Order of Sovereigns to stand with us. We might ask the Pope for moral support in a conflict. It is the need of the Imperium that we hold onto Newfoundland. We do not wish to secure via taking over your country but you may give us little choice if you choose to attack us. Hence we would like it if you accept our ownership of Newfoundland and take the road to peace instead of the road to realm of Hell known as war.

May the Lord direct you away from the warmongering antics of the Devil.
