Solitude Congressional Building

The world has erupted in a quazi-World War. Russia breaking their pact with Russia has convinced President Hanna and the legislature of Solitude to act quickly. Taking cue from the recently formed The Humane Initiative for Territorial Sovereignty and the Global Defense of Peace, both the Representatives and the Senators in the Foreign Affairs Committee have convened in the best course of action to take in a world of instability. In keeping consistant with Hanna's platform of neutrality, they've reivewed the blacklisting the HITSGD has placed forward. The Foreign Affairs Committee met with President Hanna to elaborate on their discussion.

"The NSRA, Namibia, Malay, Aden, Blood Empire, and Russia have been black listed according to the HITSGD." Said the chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee Senator Kenith Lowe.

"The NSRA? Who the hell are they?" Asked President Hanna as inquires about who or what they are.

"They are, Nazis."

"Oh boy, here we go again." exclaimed Representative Johnson. "Before you know it, Mussolini would make a special guest appearance. The world is already in a hell in a hen basket."

Senator Kenith turns to both Hanna and Representative Johnson "Apparently they are the successor for Romnesia and Romney himself. Already they've shown themselves with a genocidal inclanation and already a threat to world peace. As the organization states, 'They make Romnesia look reasonable by comparison'."

"If you ask me, it's more like meet the new boss." Exclaimed Hanna as she takes a sip of her tea, "We've already have provisions to blockade his coasts if Romnesia and his successor state doesn't back down. I've already have made considerations to embargo Romnesia if he keeps the Blockade up. Russia already pulled the same stunt Romney did by devouring Poland when it had it's back turned."

"We can in turn, as a display of sympathy and solidarity, we can halt all direct trade with the afflicted nations until the grievances have been addressed. This may be in the form of an executive order on your part."

"What about Namibia, they are in a process of a peace talks with Mozambique?"

"Well, they can be an exception since they are in the middle of a piece talk."

"Very well, I'll address the blacklisted nations in my address when I issue Executive Order 296."

Later that Night

Hanna Antilles, sits behind a dark mahogany desk with her hands clasped on the table as she looks towards the camera, ready to address the nation and the world on Solitude's decision in the quazi-world war.

"Good evening. As many of you know, Solitude has sided with a coalition of nations that has grievances with Romnesia. As the year went on, numerous conflicts sprung up. Romnesia broke piece with Manx as well as other nations they signed a peace treaty with, all in the name of Revanchism over territories lost to Namibia. Now Poland has been a victim of the recent strings of broken peace treaties by Russia. At most recent, Cascadia made a sneak attack against Canada on the advice of Romnesian officals. The Entire world has been engulfed in a sea of warfare from Europe to Asia.

The Humane Initiative for Territorial Sovereignity and the Global Defense of Peace was recently formed and has passed on a blacklisting of nations that are mostly involved in the recent strings of conflicts. In a show of solidarity and sympathy, the Solitude Republic joins in with the HITSGDP and it's initiative.

The First nation is the NSRA, the successor to Romney and Romnesia. They have shown themselves in the course of just a few months to be a bloody regime and a threat to world peace. In the recent hours, the HITSGDP has lifted as piece talks between Namibia and the NSRA has been commenced. Until such time, the Solitude Republic wishes to see evidence of a peaceful intent before perusing further actions against NSRA.

Namibia, while it has been a victim of Romnesia's surprise Revanchist War, they have shown ambitions to annex Mozambique. For both the NSRA and Namibia, Solitude wishes to see that the borders are returned to status quo ante bellum, and end it's militarist ambitions within the region.

The Blood Empire has engaged itself in a war against Namibia and has intentions of stripping away it's sovereignty by making it a vassal state of the Blood Empire. They've also engaged in mass murders and continues to occupy it's people in the African War.

Russia has taken the path that Romney had taken. Making a peace treaty into nothing more than a cease fire. In witch, we feel that Russia should return the lands that were disputed with Poland at the start of the War and pay reparations for the damages that has been done to Poland.

The Malians have subjugated and suppressed the people of Vietnam thus denying them self-determination. While Solitude has no interest in Southeast Asia, other than economically, we stand by Japan in their reasoning for stability in the region.

Aden has been on the road of domination and has shown an aggressive side in their policies and has a potential to destabilize any remaining shred of peace on this planet.

While Solitude has been itself neutral in the conflicts, we find that we cannot stay neutral any longer after seeing peace treaties being treated like toilet paper. I hearby ask the HTSGDP that Solidude and her clients to request to join the HITSGDP. In the name of furthering the ideals of peace. To comply with the blacklist that HTSGDP has provided, I've set aside Executive Order 296 to embargo the nations that are included in the HTSGDP blacklist until they change their policies that threaten the stability of peace.

Indonesia once more speaks on the behalf of the minor nations membership when it thinks any NSRA membership would need to wait until a clear dedication to peace is made.

Solitude is of course welcome as a member; Indonesia asks Spammerstan and Japan's vote in the matter.

Further, we ask Spammerstan, Japan, and (likely) Solitude's vote on NSRA ascension. Indonesia personally feels that it'll take more than a simple stated desire for peace. Should the NSRA prove it is a genuine champion of peace, Indonesia shall be open to its membership.

Citizens of the Imperium! I am to announce a new plan that will lead us near to a Golden Age for the Empire of Mann! This Golden Age will come not by our military genius but by our economic wisdom. In preparations to not rely primly on our heavy industries and to ensure our merchant vessels are grander I am pleased to declare that the Imperium of Man, ever blessed by God, will see important investments in business, infrastructure (especially transportation), cultural commodities and the construction industry. The sorrows of last year are to be behind us as we march forward to a golden dawn, demonstrating that the Imperium will in the end kneel only to God! With the peace that the Pope has sprung onto us, ever in duty as God’s voice on Earth, our economy will grow! As we isolate ourselves from the self-destruction of the heretics and infidels we will be ready to help a world of pure intent! By the glory of Christendom we will rise once again!

I wish to declare that improvements are to be set! Our nuclear industry, although taking a blow after the loss of our plants in Britain to the Neatherscotts, is never the less able to be developed for our benefit! We may have not gained Iceland in the end for geothermal power but who needs that when we has plenty of oil from Newfoundland and the Falklands, along with our access to atomic materials? Where others use atomics for war we use for peace! I am pleased also to declare that our trade investments will aid our industry well! For example I have set plans for a new rail system in Imperial Australia to aid our atomic materials reach their ships better! Combined with the effort of dissidents criminals redeeming themselves viva hard labour and we will likely grow in glory!

I am also pleased to declare plans for Greenland. I am aware that the peoples of Greenland are… not exactly familiar of the idea of being in the Imperium, especially with the curse of the Mormon heresy still lingering in the Greenlander air, causing sensor problems for the peoples of Greenland, but I have a plan to use my investments to help the Greenlander economy have a little boom, in turn helping my subjects in Greenland to see why they are better off under imperial sovereign rule. The raw materials of Greenland, such as copper, iron, uranium, platinum, aluminium and other more, have already had basic mining on them by Manx companies but I am wishing to use my investment to encourage the growth of the private mining sector in Greenland, such as the development of a grand bullet train system to link up resources easier. As well as benefiting industry, the train system will also help the peoples of Greenland get about easier, as well as aid our troops in case Greenland ends up attacked again by allowing quick mobilisation. If the Greenlanders see the benefits they could claim from this then surely they will make the choice of allowing our development for the greater good?

I also declare that the investment into our trade will aid the fishing industry of Greenland, as well as the fishing industry of other provinces of the Imperium of Mann. I am hoping our private trade routes will find fish from costs of Greenland, Imperial Australia, the Falklands, Newfoundland and other places of our great empire will serve as but part of their great trade load with other nations so that they may grow in riches so that we in turn will profit from their gain. As such let this year be a year of businesses being born into this world and growing up quickly to serve as agents of Manx economic might! You wealth generation will in the aid make the entire Imperium of Mann ever stronger and a stronger Imperium of Mann will help your wealth generation more so, especially as we protect your trade from criminal activity!

Finally I have announcement to make: in line for future development in our technologies, especially our war technologies, a green light is to be shown for the development of research facilities in Greenland and Australia, the latter will of course depend on how the subjects of Greenland will take their time to see that they will make good citizens of the Imperium of Mann. While economic research will be set in these facilities I do confess we will be using some for… defence purposes. We need to develop our technologies ready for just in case! Plans are still being drawn but in the end our military research would lead to better chances to defend the realm! This especially will be important for the protection of our trade from pirates! Still it is but a humble investment in military I have installed: for my purpose is to make the Imperium mighty in wealth! Wealth will help us further on!
