music language thread

I listen to english music (of course), and some spanish (mana, heroes del silencio), I don't understand a word in spanish but it sounds cool.

also there are lots of french and italian songs on the radio here, although I don't particulary like any of them.

Yes here are the (incorrect) lyrics in english for "angel",and "Du Hast" where it says "official Rammstein translation" All the others are in German http://webpdp.gator.com/v3/webpdp_v3_plugin.php?yic=HIC_Adtegrity . If you have KaZaa or anything like that I suggest you download "speil mit mir" first (very cool) And yes, I'd listen to them in English but they would not ryme:(

The link does not work.

I got the "Sehnsucht" (desire) CD as a gift once, but apart from a few songs I don't like the lyrics. "Engel"(angel) and "Du hast" are the more harmless anyway.

"Spiel mit mir" (Play with me) is about incest, "Tier" (animal) about bestiality, "Bestrafe mich" (punish me) obviously about s/m, "Bück dich" (bend over) also about sexual practices, "Klavier" about abduction and abuse, "Alter Mann" and "Eifersucht" (jealousy) are rather harmless too, "Küss mich [Fellfrosch]" is about fellatio.

What I meant is, would you, for example, listen to "Closer" (Nine Inch Nails) or similar songs? Similarly explicit text that describe sexual acts (though "Closer" is not as descriptive as some of the Rammstein lyrics), only in English?

From Rammstein I like the previous (Herzeleid) and the last (Mutter) CD's better, though the texts are equally provocative. But I don't listen music just to provoke others.
