I've found the musics of Civ3 and I've put them to Civ4.

But the "ancient" musics are strange, because there are .wav that seems to be "parts" of musics, that in Civ3 are played in the right order.

But I don't know if Civ4's music reader reads the .wav and even I don't know if it play these musics in the right order or in a random order. (I think it's random).

I've thought to a program to take these .wav and to make only one big music on a single .mp3 to prevent this problem of wav reading or random reading.

What do you think about this all?

No answer?

Currently, I use a program to put all sounds next to each other in this order :

xxxA.wav + xxxB.wav + xxxC.wav + xxxD.wav + xxxE.wav + xxxF.wav + xxxG.wav + xxxH.wav + xxxI.wav + xxxfull.mp3

But this program only make videos so I get an .avi

So I use after another program that extracts sounds from movies so I get my .mp3 ready for Civ4

Good idea?

Um, the Civ3 music looks like MP3's to me. I took out some of the crappy Civ4 songs and replaced them with Civ3 sonds.

What on Earth? You people PREFER Civ3's music? I agree that some of the classical-era music is a bit messed up, but after that, it's really quite good. It's REAL MUSIC from that period. Miserere and Gloria in eccelsis Deo in particular are famous from the Middle Ages. And don't forget the Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart; those men were genetically incapable of making bad music, and the selections made by Firaxis were very good--not so boring, so that if you REALLY wanted to, you could sit and not play, not so interesting that it distracts you from play.

True, enough, but they mixed in their own music and some of it is annoying after awhile. I liked Civ2's music the best. You can hear some of it in Cyrus' theme song. That was repetitive, but if you turned down the sound low enough, it didn't annoy.

I don't prefer the Civ3 music, but some of the Civ4 songs are horrible, like The People are Heros, I can't stand that song, I deleted immediately.

If you actually watched Nixon in China, you'd appreciate it more.

In vanilla Civ3, the ancient songs were in .wav files. However Firaxis included compiled versions in .mp3 format with the Conquests expantion.

Why Vanilla ?
The ancient songs are in .wav AND .mp3, they are 2 parts of one music.
Can you give me compiled versions in .mp3 of them if you have please ?
