I thought about all that over weekend and I decided to apologize to those who were insulted by my posts last week. I understand that my posts were not in right time and maybe place too?!?! I know that many young Civs are there who take things personally and tend to see only the dark side of my messages. As I said I do not hate America and especially Americans. I recognize all the good things that US Govt has done, but I thought that we might as well DISCUSS some of dark ones too. I just realized, that exchange of thought, beliefs, opinions etc is very hard and limited in this kind of forums. Please do not think that I am some anti-American activist (or some other crap!), I do not support those who did it and I feel sorry for those who were touched by losses. However, I believe I did not tell lies. I tried to not comment or judge. I just presented some facts (the way I know them) that I wanted to share and discuss in civilized way – hm.. did not work well. Maybe some time latter (after pressure comes down) somebody will be willing to DISCUSS with me some topics. <br />After all we are here to play the best game ever – Civilization!

The duck<br />Well.. It is hard to me to trace few threads at the same time ( I am at work – shhh….). Written conversation is not as good as voice + visual. We can read body language, tone of voice etc, etc. It takes more to just state you are a ………………………..-it is much easier here.

There we go! <br />It does not relate to you. I just recall that some of civs called me …….. (sure some of them may think and say- you deserved it, but I just ignore it). I think that when you have a conversation face to face you will think twice before you call somebody …… On the net it is easy – that is all what I wanted to say – no hidden messages.

Hey man, all tresspasses forgiven. I myself must apologize for saying some of the crazy ass **** I said too. Most of it was just a fierce anger reaction to F-day. I want everyone to forget everything I said on tuesday and wednesday. Make no mistake, all the things I said then I meant THEN, but after a few days of relaxation I see everything differently. I was being honest then, but I was just so incensed that decency left my body and floated away. It all looks different now. Although I'm still mucho pissed, my vision has improved in clarity.

I have no problem with you bringing up what you believe are flaws or hypocracies. It's just your timing was bad, we Americans are going through a horrible time right now and you bring up those things was kind of like pouring salt in some very, very deep wounds.

I'm going the same route as blue monday, a lot of the stuff i said was more than a little an emotional reaction. The only stuff i'll stand beside is the bashing of those who said america deserved to be attacked. i won't tolerate that now or ever.

I'm glad to see this bickering (especially the Australia versus USA aspect of it) comming to an end.
Our countries have fought alongside one another in every major conflict this century. Yes there are some differences between us and I personally disagree with some aspects of the way the US carries itself, but these pale utterly into insignificance when compared to the values we share.
The only point I would like to make today is that people of many countries have been affected by what happened. To the best of my knowlege, in addition to thousands of Americans, around 90 Australians are either dead or missing, about 190 British about 200 Germans, about 170 Columbians, around 100 Japanese amoung others. There are a lot of angry and mourning people all around the world and they all have a legitimate stake and interest in what the US as the leader of the free world is going to do.

A hallmark of a free nation, and indeed of a free world, is the right to express one's thoughts and opinions without violence. As a matter of fact, if we all had the exact same view of things (be they liberal, conservative, or whatever), the world would be be a much less interesting place.
When you think about it, it really is a privledge of sorts that we can all express ourselves in whatever fashion, and the Storm Troopers don't come in and cart off those who don't tow a nation's particular party line. In the coming months and possibly years, the military of many nations will be involved in eradication at least all major orgainzed and/or supported terrorism cells. And in ultimately, they will be defending the right of forums such as this to exist in peace and safety.
Sadly, the militaries of the free world are not likely to take the only casualties as the terrorists strike back on the theory that by killing and maiming more innocent civilians, the world will say "King's X", and let the despicable terrorists continue the killing at a reduced rate. I put it forward that even the loss of a few lives at the hands of terrorists is reprehensible and must be addressed by governments collectively and united in resolve. It's bad enough when Nations go to war, but at least a nation occupies a fixed location and can thus be held somewhat accountable.
