My civ 5 series on youtube

I am new to civilization 5 but i love it. I want to get very good. I started a new civ 5 series of lets plays where I am england. please check it out at http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL79BD04C58AE69639&feature=plcp

I watched the first 2 vids. You started on a hill so you didn't have to move. When you have your cursor on the tile and look just above the mini-map it will tell you what the tile is made of. Also why did you go for the bottom techs to get better attacking units. It's islands so you should get libraries and sailing tech along the top. First one to get the ability to island hop gets all those free ruins.

thanks for the good pointers. ha i never really noticed that it tells you what the tile is made of. and yeah i think your right about that tech tree idea later on in the series i talk about how i probly made a mistake in my tech tree. ships earlier would have been better.
