My exodus gate seems to be bugged? Am I doing something wrong?

First time purity playthrough. Completed the quests. All of the quest points have ticks.

Built the gate. I click on the gate's tile and a little window opens on the bottom left of the screen saying - exodus gate 0 of 20 settlers settled.

I click on the small circle symbol above the gate on the map and nothing happens.

How do I get a settler to come through?

Is it bugged, or am I not seeing something obvious about this?

I'll post in the 2k tech support forum if it's a bug, but I thought I'd better check I'm not missing something first.

You get a earthling settler by 1. selecting the exodus gate 2. the usual unit selection screen will apear 3. notice that compared to other units where should be order actions possible to make for units a new Single icon wll be present 3. press it and you`re done ... at least 1 settler will be there, come back overe there 20 more times

the button you have to press is at the left side of the screen when selecting the gate, above the message 0 of 20, very easy to miss, the red dot on the map does nothing
