Well, I could see that Warlord Battlecry II has just been released. Since I was a fan of the first episode, I purchased WB2 and it's really a great game. For those who know Warlors/heroes of M&M saga, battlecry is the same, but in real time. You also have heroes system. And suddenly that makes me think Warcraft 3 has surely been inspired by WB1. This is a screenshot I found on the net, since I didn't have any screenshot tool.

There's also another RTS I really enjoyed but unfortunately few people know it. It's called SWINE. It's more a RTS parody than a really serious RTS. There are 2 races: pigs and rabbits. You also have to develop your own armies (armors, infantry, etc... yes even pigs have that kind of technology :)) and send 3000 units to rush on the enemy base. Very subtle, indeed. Anybody tried it? Anybody wanna MP me?

i have WB1, its quite entertaining...

oh, and where could one get hold of SWINE? it sounds fun, i read about anither game kinda like SWINE but its ants and other insects instead

I think you can buy Swine in any video game store, at least the biggest ones. Or you can order online, I guess. I never buy only (don't really trust that way) but I always find what I want in the numerous video games stores in Paris. So if a barbarian city like paris has such games, I'm pretty sure more advanced cities should surely have that too. And it's really fun, very humorous. It's even funnier than the War2 orcs, farting or burping :)

You bought Battlecry II?? Doesn't sound like you GK. :)

Sounds like it is a good one if you are making references to WC3.

They have talked about it, but so far not many companies have. I think Virgin games are doing it but then their games don't seel for more than 20$ even when brand new.

Well, in France you pay full price, i.e. ~$50 for that kind of thing. It's a scandal, isn't it. Now I understand that some people are more willing to get those games by some "other" means ;) Fortunately, famous companies such as Blizzard still release their game in a full box+paper manual, although their budget games (diablo 1 + sc + bw + wc2 bne pack) has no box (but I bought it at $30 which is an excellent bargain).
On the other hand I think games such as Falcon 4 shouldn't have a paper manual, since it's 700pages and the amazon forest would suffer a lot :)
