Hi,

I registered some months ago, but only as a lurker and I am actually taking part in this site for about 2 months. I really have to say that this is one of the last nice gaming places - and especially forums - on the internet. I play network games since kali times - well about 10 or more years - and over these years it got worse and worse to talk to other gamers in forums.

This site and especially the forum has really a huge number of people who

a) can read and write
b) are polite and helpfull when you are
c) bring in own ideas, creativity, time and much more
d) can have differences without getting too personal

Beeing some days in my 30ties already (as some others here, as I noticed) I did not enjoy it to be part of a gaming community for a long time since I found this site. In fact I did not touch the civ3 game for more than a year (maybe two) till I found CFC and now I am playing quite regularly again.

My thanks go to all the staff here, but especially to the users who bring quality to this place.

I have yet to really explore any other sites, but I must say I like the fact that there is a good contrast, this is not just a strictly Civ Site, you have O/T, Humour and Jokes, Comp. Talk, and the ever-addicting Model parliment.

This probably brings my grades down slightly, but only slightly, MC is worse off then I, I do believe . . .

I visit many forums on the internet, and not just gaming ones. The only places I ever stay have to be as good as this. And most of those have less than a tenth of the number of members here, and are usually pretty specialized in their subject matter.

This is one the the two best Forums that I am active at. The other one only has about 40 members and we are all friends so that doesn't really count. Just remember, the best way to keep this place great is to not tell anyone about it.

I do not belive that you can get grades much worse off then me. Through if your getting f's on your report card then your worse off.
