yor mom is probably saving you from getting addicted to civ, thank her!

That's actually how long my wife let's my 11 y/o play. Of course, we have five others trying to get time in on the TV, Playstation/GameCube, and computer....btaft said:If he thinks his Mom only giving him two hours a day is bad wait until he gets married and his wife only allows him 1/2 hour per day
Heh, I'm the same way; I typically go months at a time without playing Civ3 because when I get into it, I find myself playing 10-12 hours a session, sleeping for 2-3 hours, and then playing another 10-12 hours... I waste whole weekends this way...HAND said:My last civ3 game was in June ...i consider myself a Civ player who chooses not to play..Being a Non-civplayer is tougher than being a Civ who doesn't play... like a smoker who chooses not to smoke...

But, think if you make a request to any of the mods to stop this thread, they might do it for you.
Found this in a singaporean tabloid, about a gamer who took it to the extreme.

Try getting her addicted to civ. Worked for my dad. He used to complain when I played civ all teh time, but then I gave him my old Vanilla civ CD......Now he's more addicted than me.Drakan said:Yeah, i'm 29 and my girlfriend just kept whining that I spent more time playin' than with her. And they say drugs cause addiction, heh.
