Native America Mod

That a good idea, R8XT. Acually, you should make the cactus above used that system, so the Aztec, or other nations don't start out that great in the deserts or other land masses.

The Powhatan were an offbranch of the Leni-Lenapes (Delaware).

The Tlingit, Cheyenne, Haida, Pomos, Toltec, Olmec, Natchez, Choctaw, Seminole, and Moche are needed! I'd make it 31 civs.

@R8XFT, Yes, make a Relgious Settlement technology for the Aztecs. They settled there because of the Cactus Eagle. So, make that and I'll try to work a wonder gfx.

BTW, did you include the interface modifications? And fix the TileInfo (purple mark), and the Diplomacy ones (lighten them up)

Here's a Presentation of the New (additional) Wonders. Some will be Modern, Unnecesary, and Semi-Appriciated. :)

Modern Aztec Building
ModernAztecBuilding.jpg

Download / Needs A Better Name. Add this in R8XFT, but find a descent name. :)

Giant Calender
GiantCalender.jpg

Download / Could use a better name if opposed. Meso American flavor only?

Aztec Casino
AztecCasino.jpg

Download / Hey, up north got casinos. So, share the land and oppurtunities. :) Better name? Just a crazy modern wonder/small wonder? :D

@R8XFT, just add them all :D

I can take care of any future techs, :)

So we will be using the Masked Leaderhead after all as that other island tribe's(can't remember the name) leaderhead?

You just made my day!

I also agree with Mobilize about the Haida, since Steph's got some amazing units for them we could use.

So the Hawaians will be added as well? Great! Just make the Hawaiian islands bigger(to fit cities) and then we are talking!

PS: You want a 4th era Unexisted?

Hmm, I seem to recall a few Modern units we could use for that(None of them are Native American pacific, but they aren't european either)

I fixed the purple mark and I'll have a go at the diplomacy stuff. Thunderfall's read my PM, but had nowt back from him yet, so I'll carry on if that's ok.

Looks like I've got a bit of modding to do, adding in those other tribes. I'll see what I can come up with today :) . I'll have to come up with a good name for that Aztec wonder as well.
I'll look at Steph's units also and see what we can add from there.

I can do everything for the fourth era. Just add predicted techs. Like futuristic NA units. Techs. My problem is all the texts, and civliopedias. Maybe you can do the Future-like techs? :) Just think of things like. Advanced Ball Games Coloseum. You know, but mainly techs. :)

New civ : Tlingit

One of the civs requested by Mobilize and Nahuixtelotzin. I could do with some names of Chiefs and cities please :) .

New civ : Haida

So, Mobilize and others want the Haida, and Sword_Of_Geddon wants us to use the Polynesian masked leaderhead. Haida used masks, but the Polynesian guy looked too......er......Polynesian :p
So I came up with this.....

Again, Chief and city names would be appreciated ;) .

New civ : Cheyenne

I'm glad I did the Cheyenne - this leaderhead obviously used Alexander as a base and built a Cheyenne look around him. All these leaderheads, like the rest, come with all pcxs' and basic animation.

Good job R8XFT.

@Bozz, it is. But you might encounter some errors. I would suggest to download the mod and all the patches. Try it out, then wait until R8XFT uploads his update and then add it.

Unexisted: Civilipedia is my forte' so they say.

RF: Wait on those new units, I can likely do something along those lines like I did turning my last run at the mod.

This time around though, expect no errors, as I've learned from my mistakes

Oh and that Tlingit leader is wearing a Haida-style hat by the way...Not that I disapprove of that Masked leader for them in any way.

As for leaders and info.....

The following information was taken from

http://www.spiritofpeace.pwebtech.com/haidahistory.htm

Haida History:

The Haida are North American Indians living on the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia and on part of Prince of Wales Island, southeast Alaska, which some Haida groups invaded, probably early in the 18th century.

The Haida language belongs to the family of Nadene languages. Traditional Haida society was organized into many single matriclan villages composed of one to several house groups. Matriclans, headed by hereditary chiefs, were land owning and ceremonial units that were divided into Eagle and Raven subgroups (moieties).

Expert fishermen and seafarers, the Haida depended heavily on halibut, black cod, sea mammals, mollusks, and other sea species in addition to their freshwater salmon catches. The abundant red cedars were used to make huge dugout canoes, multifamily plank houses, numerous splendidly carved TOTEM poles as memorials and as portal poles, and carved boxes and dishes. Chiefs gave potlatches to guests of the opposite moiety, displaying hereditary crests and dances. Shamans wore masks indicative of their spirit powers in curing. Warfare with enemy tribes was frequent, for revenge, booty, and slaves.

In the early 19th century the aboriginal Haida population was about 8,000 on the Queen Charlotte Islands and 1,800 in Alaska; in the 1890s they numbered fewer than 1,500 as the result of disease introduced through Western contact. During this appalling population decline, Queen Charlotte Islands survivors assembled in multi-clan villages, of which two remain, Masset and Skidegate. Alaskan Haida formed five multi-clan villages, since merged (1911) at Hydaburg. In the mid-1980s the total Haida population was about 2,000.

Make a Civilopedia entry out of it. Did you Civilopedia every additional thing? :)

I did all the unit's civilipedia entries in the mod, RF did the civs.
Have you tried version 3.0 yet Unexisted?

I added ALOT of new units(Complete with Civilipedia entries and pictures), unfortunately, the patch had numerious errors in it, which RF has fixed in the new version that will be downloadable soon.

I did, but there an error with :Hunting:. Some pediacon...I have all the patches. It apparently happened before I picked a civ.

Nope, just realized, that all of my Native american folders were disapearing.
