Natural wonders development thread

possibly, the isLake() handles the finding, but the code for finding the whole lake could be difficult unless a lake counts as a single "area" (CyArea()). still massively hardcoded.

Not quite sure how to change the texture though....

Since you want the lake to provide a resource salmon, if every plot of the lake = 1 salmon resource, don't you think it is too OP if the whole lake provides 1 salmon per tile?

If the lake is 8 tiles big, you get 8 salmon resources...

Artwise it would be a pain, and no way i could get that to work, maybe Hrochland could but im sure even for an expert like him it would be beyond difficult

It would most likely be easier to just have it on one plot and make it bigger so it looks like its on more than one, those code it to make sure the codes it covers is also land

Maybe choose a good scale a node in one third of the model. Then the lake was big enough , but belong to one tile.

open up the CvEventManager and edit iBaseCulture in the very top function doNaturalWondersConstantsInit()

it is affected by the gamespeed however, but I think on normal it should be 100% so 500 culture.

I take it you are not having trouble adding the actual wonders for spawning then? thats good :p

The 'Atol' link just redirects to that post again.

They look really nice, great job:goodjob:

@Jamie, do you think you can change the effects? Culture just does not work. If you found it right away (like your second city) it is way to powerful. I think if it was changed to +1 happiness throughout the civ, and +1 (extra so +2 total) in the city i beleive that would be better
