Notice I have one team from the Stank-10 on here. That is because I firmly believe that most High School football teams are better than ANY team in the Skank-10.

The problem is that they all beat up on each other, and one ends up having a record of 8-3, and they proclaim: "This team would have done much better without having to play in such a "tough" conference...B.S. And the Skank-10 fans know it

Here's the only prediction that counts:

#1: University of Utah

DEAD LAST BECUASE THEY SUCK: Brigham Young University (BYU)

Hey Fox, if the so-called "stank" Big Ten Conference sucks so bad, how is it that most years like 4 to 7 teams are ranked in the top 25 at one point or another? Not to mention the fact that there's usually 4 or 5 in the top 25 when the season ends. I'll grant you that the Big Ten isn't as strong as normal this year, but neither is the Big XII. I can't remember more than 4 teams from the Big XII being in the top 25 at one time, ever. In fact it's more like Nebraska vs. the Big XI. Them, along with Florida State (in the ACC) is like being a 12 year old bully in the fourth grade. I'm starting to think that you've got something of an inferiority complex brewing...

You're the one who brought up the conference issue, don't start whining about it now. At the end of the day, I'm a Michigan fan. When it comes right down to it, I couldn't care less about the rest of the Big Ten. But, you can't deny facts none the less (not without making yourself look like a fool anyway).

As for yesterday...Michigan was not out matched by Washington. They gave that game away. Proven fact, when Hayden Epstein enters a game, bad juju follows him onto the field. While the missed block which allowed his 4th quarter FGA to be blocked, wasn't his responsibility, I felt that he could have gotten the kick off faster. I could go on about it, but I'll stop here.

As for the Huskers (AKA the Bug Eaters), yes they did win. But I think that if Notre Dame was playing their 3rd game of the season instead of their first, the Irish would've come out of Lincoln with a win. Based on what I saw last night, I'd like to see a rematch on New Year's Day.

But, you are right none the less, Fox. Michigan lost while Nebraska won yesterday. A win is a win.

How about Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas (in the Top 10) and Kansas State (#12). Top to bottom the Big 12 has had the strongest conference for the last 2 years...and I'm a Big 10 fan.
The problem with the Big 10 is the history of not making it to the Championship game (once in 10 + years) and the effect that has on recruiting. I love Northwestern (should win the conference), but they were smoked by the Huskers (in a down year) last year in San Antonio.

My top 10:

Nebraska
Washington
Florida State
Miami, FL
Florida
Oklahoma
Northwestern
Oregon
Texas
South Carolina

Whining??? Fool??? Um, do you see dead people too???

Absolutely correct... But the Skunks are still terrible, and the Huskies are pretty bad too...

Bug Eaters is actually a compliment (Shows you know your stuff)... The Irish cannot beat us. Our offense stinks at the moment, but it will come around and we will be a tough team to contend with. I am sure that the Skunks would be ill advised to play us on New Years Day!!! Oops, I forgot, THEY WON"T EVEN MAKE IT INTO A BOWL PLAYED ON NEW YEARS DAY!!!

"But, you are right none the less, Fox. Michigan lost while Nebraska won yesterday. A win is a win."

Very correct... Wait 'til next year .

After several edits, I gave up on trying to bold gjts00's post... If someone could P.M. me and give me the procedure CORRECTLY I would vastly appreciate it. My bracketizing was not working at all...

Yo Fox, the rematch that I was refering to was A Notre Dame v Nebraska rematch, you got that one mixed up. You've also got the bowl scenarios mixed up. Michigan WILL play on New Year's Day (I'm hoping for the Fiesta Bowl, as I live 11.3 miles from Sun Devil Stadium), while the Bug Eaters will go to the Furniture Gallery.com bowl, as I will now add Colorado to my list of teams that will beat Nebraska this season.

Colorado??? Does the company you work for do mandatory drug testing???

The Furniture Gallery.com bowl??? Sounds better than the Toilet bowl, which is where the Skunks are heading.

Did you know that in the last thirty years, the best winning percentage of any division 1 team is owned by Nebraska???

Who's second???

The Michigan Wolverines. At least the Skunks are in good company.

The Buffaloes have no prayer of defeating us this year... The only tests we really have are Oklahoma and Texas.

I can personally guarantee that Oklahoma will NOT beat us this year.

Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas St are in the top 10 or 11 with Texas A&M and Colorado close enough to break into the top 25.

1) Miami
2) Nebraska
3) Florida
4) Texas
5) Oregon
6) Purdue
7) Oklahoma
8) Tennessee
9) Florida St
10)Washington
10)Kansas St

Well, Colorado beat the crap out of Nebraska, Michigan WILL play on new years day, but the Huskers will prevail over Miami as the biggest Christmas/Hannukah/Rammadan present of all time landed in the Huskers' lap last weekend.

Now MY poll for college football (No BCS crap involved here, just the best football teams in the nation in descending order.

1. (Tie) Nebraska, Colorado. Sure, Colorado dusted the Huskers, but didn't they lose 2 games this year? The Huskers will beat Miami on Jan 3rd, nobody in college football could hope to beat the Buffs at this point. Too many people lost sight of that this year. It's a season people!

Yeah, that's what I thought;)!

2. (Tie) Miami, Oregon. Miami hasn't played ANYBODY all year, and Oregon is close behind in child abuse cases. (In case you haven't noticed, the PAC-10 is not exactly a murderers row) But two good teams

3. Nobody. Every other team who had a shot at the National title blew it. The gift that the Huskers got was one of apathy of some otherwise very good teams.

But that's fine, 'cause we will take it and capitilize.

With the benefit of hindsight, I've come to the conclusion that this year was a pretty flat year for all of NCAA football. Sadly, it looks like the national title is to be won by default this year. Alot of the highest ranked teams played cake schedules (Oregon, Miami, Florida, etc..) Or struggled with teams that they should have rolled over (cough-Nebraska-cough). In both the Big & Pac ten conferences, it seemed more like teams were trying to avoid the conference crowns, rather than playing for them. Especially Michigan! *gjts00 turns his Michigan hat inside out and places it backwards on his head.* Hats off to John Navarre; he did a first class job of choking when his team needed him the most (fag)! It leaves me thinking that (if) Drew Henson had stayed on for his senior year, Michigan would be playing Miami in the Rose Bowl for all the marbles (and one huge piece of Waterford Crystal shaped like a football too). The SEC turned in a half decent year. Although Florida really blew it down the stretch & Tennessee bit off more than they could chew. The ACC results were downright shocking! It was GREAT to see a team other than Florida State win the conference!!!!! And did I hear that North Carolina got a bowl bid?!?!? And now I owe you a pound of flesh Fox. The Big XXII looked better (as a whole) this year than I can ever remember. It was a refreshing change of pace from the typical Nebraska vs. the Big XXI routine.

Miami wins the Rose Bowl 28 to 17, bye virtue of a steadfast defensive effort down the stretch.

University of Arkansas beats Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl! Go Hogs!!!!!!!!!!!

:groucho:

Who's the crack-head now Fox?...lol

The Colorado thing was completely unexpected (Duh).

And we did choke. Badly.

But we will win a share of the national title this year:mad: after we beat Miami and Colorado pastes Oregon.

There is no better team right now then Colorado.

*munchmunchmunchmunchmunchmunch*

My hat's off to the best team in college football, the Miami Hurricanes.

And another tip of the hat to Eric Crouch, the best player in college football.

Wait 'til next year:rolleyes: .
