Nebucnadnezzar v3 project

We have some problems with crown.

I think if a blend or some screenshots or something were posted someone could probably help you out with it. This is differently an LH that a lot of people want to see (I assume it will be originally shaded and textured and all that) so I'm sure you'd get a lot of support with it if you posted something. Civ5 is coming out soon, this is no time for pride guys, it is time for efficient quality! :goodjob:

OK,but I shall upload the file and write all authors.
About Civilization 5,we must be together for the study new technologies of creation models.

It won't be released for at least another half a year (probably more than that knowing Firaxis), so there really is no need to do anything remotely close to what you are suggesting.

We have some problems with animation. Nitram, can you make good new animation for this leader?

I think it would look better if it were white, however I don't think he necessarily meant the blue aspect of it. I think, and I am only guessing, he is suggesting that the shirt doesn't look right. Maybe a short-sleeved shirt.

I like this colour.

 MM. Purple.

I found several mistakes in the base model. They ruin the shirt. We must find a way to fix mistakes.

I like the white better. But to be fair I also think the clothing on the v2 Nebuchadnezzar is better, or at least more unique. Why don't you just shader the older version?

From what I can tell there aren't really other differences between the two other than the clothing.

Purple seems to have been an important color back in those times.

As far as I know the only major ancient civilization that really made a huge deal out of purple was Rome. However I am far from an eminent expert on this subject. :)

I'm "faded" for the first time in a while, so I have a few suggestions if I may...

1) I'm not saying to abandon the Montezuma-based-Nebuchadnezzar, but I think a slight overhaul might be in order here. First of all, it is clear and obvious that the LH is based on Montezuma. Everything is the same; his eyes, his animations, etc. Not to mention the similarities with the last version of Nebuchadnezzar. I think we can "fake" enough of a difference by simply changing his eye-color, skin-tone, hair, beard, and *SLIGHTLY* modifying his nose.

2) I think this LH can do very well with a nice background. So far the Nebuchadnezzars of the past have had simple screen-shots of the Hanging Gardens wondersplash. I think we can do better. I have a few on my computer I'll post in a different post to make it easier to identify. But backgrounds are important because they are often overlooked.

3) I think you should break away from the common-conception. This is something I tried to do with my new Aborigine (Yagan) LH. I took the same basic concept (a shirtless Gandhi) and put my own spin on it. You should really try to do that this time around, considering it is the third ideration of a leader that was written about in multiple historic accounts, including those of the Babylonians (obviously), Hebrews, Egyptians and Greeks. This is a supremely important leader and you should think about that when creating him.

Anyway, I'll put up some ideas for backgrounds too. :goodjob:

I don't think it is immediately obvious he is based on Monty, but if you study for a minute you can see it. I agree with The Capo; those changes he suggested, along with maybe changing the animations if possible, could take this from a pretty good LH to a great LH.

Cheers,
