...or maybe I can start to climb, who knows? I'll try black this time, make your move, whoever you are!

I'd be happy to oblige.

Hi. You like losing? I know that I don't. :)

I play to win, otherwise what's the point? So far it's been nothing but losses though, so I'm trying to find out if I'm the worst player here, which would surprise me a bit since I'm not that bad a player.

Unless you're World Champion, there will always be a better chess player than you. Don't take Smash's rating system to heart. All it means is that among the small group of people who visit this forum, you are the second-worst player.

Who knows; perhaps half the people who play here use ChessMaster 8000 to win their games.

No question there are huge amounts of people better than me, that's for sure. I just thought before I started playing here that I wouldn't be the worst player.. but I guess I haven't played enough games to be sure of that yet.

I have just started playing rated games so I have no idea what my true rating is, I'm currently ranked 1300 (ELO) gaining 100 points the first few games. I do expect to rise a couple of hundred points more.

I don't see why anyone would use the computer to help them, it's not like there's any money to be made.

I'm currently un-rated. You might have a fighting chance against me.

You're too nice, Panzar. You don't know how bad people can be when given the opportunity. In my country, there's spraypainting other people's real estate, assaulting the innocent, raping women, etc. None of these are done for the money, unless you're a believer in ultra-conspiracy theories. ;)

BTW, cheating isn't always done for the money. Sometimes it's done to determine pecking order. Know what I mean?

You don't think the "," makes it more readable? If you insist, I guess I'll stop using them.

I insist on my opponents telling me exactly why and where I lost the game (which I do every time, apparently), so if they are relying on a computer without any skills of their own it's probably possible to tell.

I use 1. d4 quite often as white, but as black I seem to have more trouble than with most other openings. The exchange on d5 at this point is interesting, don't think I've played that before. Will be fun to see what happens.

The comma? I do what I know, so I notate as I am accustomed. You can do the same, or you can use the comma.

So you haven't caught any cheaters, eh?
