Need help with multiplayer.....

I would like to know which version of the Civ 2 is required to play in multiplayer mode.

You see, I have the Ultimate Civilization 2 Classic Collection (includes Civilization 2 and Multiplayer plus Conflits in Civilization and Fantastic Worlds Scenarios) which supports multiplayer, but everyone seems to talk only about Civilization Multiplayer Gold Edition, and i don't know if my version will work correctly with theirs.

Which one is more recent? (It seems that there is a lot of versions besides those two)

Does my version of multiplayer will work fine?

Civ2 MGE is the most recent version. And your copy should work fine, if that's what you have. You'll know it if you got the multiplayer options in your menus. To my knowledge, MGE is the ONLY multiplayer version of the game.

Take note that you will need patch 1.31, and probably 2.42.<br />They should be found at CFC, but if you have problems contact me, via private message or ICQ.
