Need WW2 Help for scenario!

Voronezh still seems like it should be NE or SE one square, but its up to you.

I'd keep the capital at Moscow, because that is where Stalin was.

Greenland, probably just an airbase. Even today total population there is like 60,000.

I wasn't aware of the British entering Baghdad so soon.

I think by the end of 1941 the British had conquered all of Italian East Africa.

Iran was attacked Aug. 25 1941 by British and Soviet forces.
(A refusal from Iran to expel all German citizens was used
as Casus Belli.)
On Aug. 28 1941 Irans military resistance ended.

Do you think Ethiopia should be British or Neutral? Selesse returned there soon after it was "liberated" but I don't know if they kind of held on to it for the war or gave it right back to him. And if so whether he joined the fight or not.

I would say British because they were definately at least leaning to that side of the fight.

It is Haile Selassie, his title would be the "Negus" BTW.

I don't know if English had control over it but I know Ethiopia proved to be difficult to digest for the Italian army. They had to use planes and gas.

Their military influence was mainly at Basra though.

Iran though, was still in theory independent.

Agree about both.

While the British controlled southern Iraq they took the opportunity to create Koweit so that it should become a small client state with lots of oil and a limited population.
Meaning that historical claims by Saddam during the Frist Gulf War were not completely false. Now his answer was definitely wrong.

Kuwait though already existed before WWII as a separate emirate. It was a British protectorate before WWI sometime, can't remember the exact date.

I just did the rest of Africa and Arabia. The area is way too big for a screenshot and not particularly interesting, so I'll just give you the city sizes.

FREE FRANCE TOTAL SO FAR: 39

Once again I've attached the full list.

Some of your african city sizes are too big, in fact, most of them are. Remember, Africa didn't start its MASSIVE population growth till after 1960.

Most of these cities should be dropped 1 to 4 in size.

where is Mombasa?

Did you adjust the city populations of most of the African cities?

I did, here are the new ones:

NORTHWEST AFRICA: (VF total 21) (GB total 15)
Dakar 9 (VF)
Abidjan 7 (VF)
Bamako 5 (VF)
Lagos 9 (GB)
Kano 6 (GB)

WEST AFRICA / CONGO (Free France): (total 25)
Brazzaville / Kinshasa 9
Njameda 5
Bangui (C.A.R.) 4
Douala (Cameroon) 4
Kananga (Zaire) 3

SOUTH + CENTRAL AFRICA (GB): (total 29)
Johannesburg 10
Cape Town 6
Durban 5
Harare 8

EAST AFRICA (GB): (GB total 37)
Addis Ababa 8
Dar es Salaam 7
Nairobi 7
Mogadishu 6
Mombasa 4
Kampala 3
Berbera 2

Kigali (FF) 4
Djibouti (VF) 4

NEUTRAL AFRICA
Luanda 7
Windhoek 3
Maputo 8
Beira 3
Nampula 4

Khartoum 8
Mahajanga 3
Port Louis 5

I'd drop Kano one more, up Cape Town a little, drop Harare slightly.

Dar es Salaam probably should be smaller, as should Mogadishu. Mombasa a bit larger (at the time I believe it was the largest city in East Africa). Nairobi probably should be one smaller. Addis Ababa should be a little smaller.

Djibouti should be smaller for sure (total population of Djibouti today is only 420,000, the capital has about 350,000 of that total ironically).

Maputo should be a little smaller, Beira maybe 1 size larger, Luanda smaller. Khartoum smaller. By the way, Sudan (where Khartoum is) was a British colony.

The Congo was Belgian.

List looks alot better now. :) If you find more accurate population figures than what I'm giving with these comments, feel free to use those instead. I'll try to dig up some accurate population figures for you and pap1723 soon.

I'll do those changes too. I had Khartoum as British, but as for the Congo... I just did a report on Charles de Gaulle, he had his Free French base in Brazzaville. That's why I have the Congo as French. What should I do about Kananga? I would think that Belgium's colonies would be at war with Germany, and I don't want to create a seperate civ, so French would probably make sense for them anyway.

There were two Congo's at that time (as there are now). One was French, one was Belgian.

Correct, which is why I pointed out that there were two Congo's and I can see the reasoning for lumping both as French, but only the one was under direct French control.
