The sun burned on the back of his neck. Not only was that bad, but the wind ceased to cool his sweaty face. Holding his bow, he wan with the rest of the party to the endge of the Tigris, stopping, taking aim at the yellow-shirted Persians, then letting loosing another 5 arrows in 7 seconds, the best in the world. And not only could he do that, but everybody in his team. He was a babylonian damnit, the most feared bowman in Arabia. After the Persians retreated, he crouched over with his hands on his knees, the face of the warrior dripping sweat on the water-choked ground. He and another bowman headed for the river, the life bringer of his nation. The water felt to his throat like gold to a merchants hand. Smooth, precious, and there wasn't enough. Again dipping his hand in the water he brought it to his mouth, then splashed some on his face. Looking up the hill, he could see the party already moving again. Leaping from the riverside, he left the cool air around it to enter the hot, neck-burning enviroment again to catch up with the rest of the bowmen.
Again they were met with Persians trying to cross the river. And again the Persians were rained on by the Babylonian arrows, soon flocking from the riverside. At this point the rest of the army joined with the party on trying to kill as many Persians as they could.
A large bang was heard, forcing them to turn around to see what the commotion was. Their eyes soon filled up with joy as the King, Hammurabia I, stepped off the chariot to greet them. The army rushed to the King, some crying, trying to get a chance to shake his hand. After greeting most of them, he stepped up on the chariot again, and then everyone quieted. Clearing his throat, he began to speak.
"Men of Babylonia, of Assyria, of Sumer, Arabia, and Kurdistan. You are here now to fight for your land, for your people, for the women, the children, and the grandfathers. You are here to fight for your nation. We have been ruthlessly invaded by subjects of evil nations, Judea and Persia. Both nations are of lesser status then Babylonia for one sole reason - they snuck attack our nation. And for what?" he stopped and the men yelled, "for our women and LAND!" they yelled, "Ahaha, yes, our women and land. Nations who seem to not have enough of their own," again pausing, but only to hear laughs. "And so, are we going to allow this to happen? Our the mightiest bowmen in the world going to allow our land and women stripped from us? Are we going to allow a couple of punk nations to push us around? Of course not! We will fight, and I right beside you. I have already dispatched letters to the Kings of Greece and Egypt, much nobler nations then the arrogant and surprise Persians and Jews. We will fight, for nation, and win this terrible war of conquest!" And with that said, the King wipped his horses with the reigns and as the gaurd stepped on the chariot, the horses took off into the distance with the men cheering from the army.
Diplomacy
To Greece and Egypt
From Babylonia
Do you really thing these nations are honorable enough to be trusted by your people? To have surprised attacked Babylonia, what makes you think they will not do the same to your countries? I say take them out before they are too strong. If you allow them to thrive, you are only signing your death wish and the wish of your nation. Attacking them now would open them both up to 2 fronts. I implore you to make haste with the decision, because I know you will make the right decision.
