Carthage

Consul Hirolyam realised that in his zeal to make the Republic a powerful nation, he had not secured any formal alliances with any nation; and only kept a questionable informal alliance with Persia going through the force of will from the Persian Emperor.

Diplomacy=
To: Egypt
From: Carthage

We would like to offer you alliance, what say you?

Orders=
-Begin a training program in Carthage, Hippo Regius, and Gades to train the army to fight better.

Update 6

Egypt accepts the Judean Peace accord.
Today, the Pharaoh of all Egypt, has accepted the peace treaty sent all the way from Jerusalem, the land between egypt and judea, the peninsula of Sinai, has become part and under full control of Judea, altought the people do not appreciate the judean takeover of their homeland.

The Greek-Hun War:

The Battle of Zalau:
For first time, a battle between two massive forces was seen, perhaps a bigger and more bloody battle than those of the persian-babylonian war.
The Greeks, supported w/ high numbers, stormed the more highly trained army of the Huns, it was a huge battle, w/ no virtual victors, however, the Hun main army was forced to retreat in search for a much better defensive position.
The greeks had virtually won the battle by regaining lost land, this until another army from the huns, came from the north and captured more land along the coast of the black sea.

The Great Naval battle of the Black sea:
The Greeks moved to the black sea in the cover of the night, at dawn, it was a full scale battle, the huns fought fiercely, but were no where as trained compared to their land counterparts, their ships eventually went down, but many sailors managed to swim away to shore; others were captured and will probably be sold to slavery in Athens.

The Battle of Eger:
The greeks, desperate to create another front againt the huns, sent 2 full armys against one, the battle lasted over 7 hours, the well trained hun army took out an entire greek army, but was forced to retreat as they needed rest and fighting against fresh forces would had been quite supid.
Altough the greeks have gained hun land, they have lost an army for it, they no longer have the once huge army they once had, they numerical advantage might have vanished?

The outcome of the campains:
no clear victor at the battle of zalau, advances and retreats from both armys.
Battle of the Black Sea, greek naval victory.
Battle of Eger, greek "victory" but at a huge cost.

Roman troops have been marching for weeks, barely arriving at the gates of the hun territory.

From The Germanic Tribes
To Rome:
We may not be linked to the huns for generations, but they were once germanic too, we share tradition, religion and our way of life, dont expect a friendly germany if you cross that border.

to the huns
from the germanic tribes:
if rome invades, we will join u only agaisnt rome.

the Celts keep expanding north, getting closer and closer to the barbarians
OOC: helfish u need a growing economy to maintain a huge military, so i increased economy instead.

THE GREAT LIGHTHOUSE OF CARTHAGE :
The carthageneans have decided to build this wonder to increase the trade ships passing through its port, it would increase the economy, do a marvel in training experienced sailors, and attract people around the mediterrenean, incresaing culture.
7 TURN WONDER, EFFECTS : 2 FREE ECONOMY LEVELS, 2 FREE NAVAL LEVELS, 1 FREE CULTURAL LEVEL,

PS. i come up w/ its effects, u just tell me its name and how it works.

EMU, u must grow economy this turn, or it will be on depresion, and ur military training/preparness will drop by one level. if u grow economy it this turn, it will be all right

To The Germans

We wish to discuss certain matters with you in private.

Name my three armies...

1st Legionary Division
2nd Legionary Division
3rd Legionary Division

The Babylonians were sad for the losses of Greek armies, and wanted some way to help them. And so King Hammurabi XXI was quick to issue the 3rd army to Greece, should Judea allow use of their fleet in the sea.

On the other hand, the great city of Ur has begun to prosper with the new trade route to east arabia. However, the marketplaces there were ill-equipped to carry on such trade, and so the king has ordered the creation of a huge marketplace in the center of Ur, named the Marketplace of Ur.

To Judea
From Babylonia

As well as you know, Greece is under attack. Babylonia is a friend of Greece, and would like to help, but we have no way of transporting our armies to the Greece mainland. Perhaps you could transport the Bayblonian 3rd army of Ur?

To Greece
From Babylonia

Should you grant us an ROP and should Judea allow us access to their fleet, we will gladly help you with the war. Our 3rd Army of Ur will be well equipped with chariots for war, and should help turn the tide for Greece.

ORDERS
If Judea allows me to use their fleet, load the army closes to the Med Sea on their fleet, and unload in Greece. Move it as far as it can go on land to the front to aid Greece (I have chariots, remember).
Continue trade
Begin the construction of the Marketplace of Ur (+2 economy, +2 culture, and +1 education)
Increase Economy
Move army on Arabian border to replace the army im sending to Greece, then one army in Mesopotamia replace the army in arabian border.

Judea
From a tiny country with no army and in the the most wanted place in the World Judea became a powerfull power of the World.
Now that Land expansion have ended for Judea the King thought about Sea expansion.
But the Navy was small, and the babylons wanted to use it, and ofcaurse that the King wanted to accept.
So there it was. The grouth of the navy in the Red Sea.

to Babylon:
Yes ofcaruse we accept for you to use our navy.

Orders
