Earth, Sea and Sky belong to Iz, and with them He does as he pleases, as is His right. Thirst He quenches in mighty rivers, changing their course. He soars with the winds, and tornados form in His wake. He tumbles in the great waters of the salt seas and huge waves crash on the shores. His body racks the earth where ever He would land, and the land shakes and sunders. He mates with the Earth, Sea and Sky, and they bring forth the lesser creatures, so that He can sate his hunger on these beasts at His fancy. The world is the dominion of Iz, whatever He wants is His to take. He ravages the world for an eon, until He tires and goes to sleep. And as He sleeps, the Earth, Sea and Sky can rest, and peace reigns for an eon, until next Iz awakens...

Algiz myth of Creation

~:~II~:~

What started as 18 city states have now become 18 nations. Spanding faster than the eldest ones can remember. The People of Jera now have communications with both Isa and Eihwaz. The meeting was not very surprising as both Isa and Eihwaz scramble to round up as much territory as they can. In fact there has been troop movements from both sides to their borders. In the north Kenaz continues its expansion and working out ways to domesticate and use the creatures they have found. Elsewhere in the south, in the nation of Perthro, the people have been working and developing better and better fishing techniques. Some have even built some very small early boats. These very early sailors that venture dangerously farther into the sea than swimmers come back home with news. Stories of great sea serpents that live further in deeper waters. The fishermen with the small boats have not been able to follow them as their ships are too easily destroyed by the elements. Only time will tell what will happen in the future. There was nothing else of interest encountered in the continent. Other than expansion and some research of technologies. and the addition of new divisions to armies. history goes on.

(Nothing much to report :p, as always keep an eye on the several posts on the front page for additional new info and developments.)

DEADLINE IS SATURDAY DEC. 23TH
Questions on regards to building wonders: wonders cant be built now. However in a few turns i will add them in the rules and tech tree.

On regards to creatures : you cant put on your orders "discover such creature". They are randomly given. However if you do write stories, you may ask for something. Although i might only give you something that vaguely resembles it.

Sorry about that it's a mental illness on my part. Any time I think of a river I think giant enemy crabs.

You seem to have misinterpreted my directions. :(
Settle a village towards the W-SW of Algiz, symmetrical to the first village.

what do you mean by symmetrical? O_O. i thought you meant as in making it simetrical to the capital (and your want to cover the mouth of the mountains.

mmmh... on your next orders send me a pic of what u wanted and ill try to fix it.

Symmetrical means that it's the same on both sides, as if you put a mirror through the capitol. But anyway, the W-SW part should be a hint. :p

Sure I want to cover the mouth of the mountain, but it's not like that land is contested any time soon... ;)

oh i see what i did wrong. ill fix it on the next update if you really need it.
Thanks, I think I may well want that but we'll see, maybe I change my mind... you'll see in my next orders. :)

Excellent update, Herr Stalin. Are there any further details that you can tell me about the Sea serpents? Anything that the fishers could have seen. I'll need that for a story.

The description given from one of the early sailors:

'It had a square head and a dragon black and white striped tail, and an immense body, which was quite fifty feet (I 5m) broad when the monster raised it. The head was about twelve feet (3.70 broad, and appeared to be, at the extreme, about six feet (1.8m) above the water ... The long dragon tail with black and white scales afterwards rose in an undulating motion, in which at one time the head, at another the body, and eventually the tail, formed each in its turn a prominent object above the water.'

However each sighting brings different sizes and apperances. Most have been a mix of black and copper colors.

But one in specific (which might not be a serpent at all) is very colorful.

I love the beginning times... so peaceful... :D

From Isa to Jera:
We come from the lands to the east. On the southern banks of the Thermodon River. We come with a message of peace and bring you some fish and small presents. We ask you to take an oath of friendship. For the people of Eihwas might try to destroy the both of us.
We await your reply.
