THE COUNTER REVOLUTION IN THE CoSR COMES TO A QUICK END
In February, Premier Tomas Kaczmarczyk overthrew the government in a coup, abolished the CoSR and stablished the Commonwealth of Nationalist Socialist Republics. He had military support of half of the military forces in eastern europe and support from the most radical wing of the solidariat movement. However his coup was doomed from start, the sectors of the union in the western hemisphere did not came to his control and many generals (among most of the former bourocracy) remained deeply pro-soviet. General Josef Nowak led the pro communist forces in an attack against the nationalists but had no succes, it seemed that Kaczmarczyk had thriumphed!.
But it did not materialised, in April 1st the Red army crossed the borders and supported the communists, in no time the nationalist armys were in retreat. Soviet forces paratrooped in many key places as armor and mech divisions went forward. by may the nationalist government only had control of Warsaw, Budapest and Bucharest. Kaczmarczyk hoped and continued to attempt contact w/ the germans and other fascists by radio, and his hopes never came to an end, as Soviet special forces broke into the presidential palace he was still attempting communications w/ Berlin. Kaczmarczyk was shot and taken outside where people linched his body. Rumors tell of Germany always having been connected to Warsaw by radio, except that the germans decided not to answer the pleas of the Polish nationalist warlord. Today full control of the country is back to the communists, General Nowak was proclaimed as new Premier of the re-stablished CoSR. The red army remained to clean up any more disdents and to protect CoSR, who lost many of her divisions during the war.

JIHAD DECLARED. ARABIA IN FLAMES. THOUSANDS JOIN HISTORIC MOVEMENT
In Iran Jihad was declared, a historical move by Ayatollah Khomeini . All muslim peoples under foreign occupation or under foreign political, economic, and cultural 'corruption' should declare holy war and attempt to liberate themselfs. As soon as the declaration was read thousands of muslims in Persia volunteered to the army (read below about volunteer/guerrilla armys). In the CIS the leadership also embraced such and some volunteers apperaed in Egypt willing to fight in Algeria. But the greatest movement happened in Arabia, as soon as the muslim leadership in Mecca agreed to the Jihad thousands rose in arms, some of the military rebelled and broke the nation apart. The Saudi Royal family along w/ the loyal generals have moved into the Capital Riyadh and the northern areas. The situation is desperate in the nation, all of the Oil shipments are on hold and the free world depends virtually on Mexican oil reserves. Whose supply will become erratic as it attempts to fuel so many nations.
In Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, the south/central USSR and north SEAC the Call of Jihad is yet to become news as the press works w/ those govts. to filter the infomation out in an attempt to keep the territorys under control.
ofcourse this is a practical imposibility, and once news of the Jihad arrives massive religious upheval are expected. For Islam has no ideological allignment.

American forces along w/ EC reinforcements arrived to Algeria to contiue to calm down the nation. Elections were held by the americans, and altought the population says that these were faked, most of the Free world thinks of them to be legitimate. Some Algerians decided to give up w/ the sights of the newest EC mechs, others went into hiding as they received military aid from an ancient camel trade route arriving from the south. This also shows that the relatons of the EC and US have also calmed down from the recent political storm. Ofcourse recent news of the Jihad are yet to arrive to the area....
REBELS IN SEAC IN SIGHT OF COLLAPSE
The islamic rebels in SEAC are almost destroyed, the national army continues to push on and is in the verge of victory. SEAC rebels continue a brave but desperate attempt to hold their location but w/ less and less supplies they can last so long
GERMANS ACT AGAINT REBELLS.
The german forces moved into italy and the balkans to stamp out the rebellions and show the rebels whos boss in the Reich. Things have gone slow due to the mountanous terrain and easily defensive possitions but many advances were made. In the city port of Sivenik Yugoslavia a ship carring supplies, guns and ammo was taken by the GESTAPO, and plenty of evidence points out where it came from. Its no longer surprising why so many captured equipment was made in Japan.
ALL QUIET IN THE NORTH KOREAN FRONT.
It seems that the Koreans have finally pulled their rebel tooth out. They have total control of the north korean problem spots and it has been a few months w/out any military or guerrilla incidents. Korea seems to finally enjoy peace. Peace that the government has used to start a ballistic project of their own.
CANADA ARMS UP. QUEBEC HEATS UP.
The Soviets were forced out of the Hudson bay, and the Candians were able to raise up several divisions, one of them mech. Also received japanese peacekeepers to help out. Hudson bay was liberated, but aid to the rebells continued to pour in. the Canadian navy started to run blocade runs to more efficiently halt red guns and butter. The soviets in international waters but right outside of canadian waters fired 'warning shots' at the canadians, just to receive canadian 'warning' shots. These missed the soviet warships by less than 100 meters.
MEXICO REMAINS PRO FREE WORLD
After receiving a small amount of aid from an unannounced source, the mexican president was writing his speach to leave the US leadership when all of the sudden the american embassador arrived w/ a huge check, aconomic aid had finally come form the W plan.
