It's a better server overall than B.net's regular servers. Less lag, better ranking system, less "OMGOMGOMGFASTESTMAPEVERJOINJOINJOINNAONAONAO!", better players (as in both politeness and skill, but there's players of all skills there), etc.

Go here and look on the left side in the "Information" box to download iCCup, anti-hack, the official maps, and the latest patch.

Once you download it (I don't remember if you have to install it or not), it'll be in the same place the normal B.net servers are (double-click, type "m", type "e", select server, hit "space", wait a second, type "thisismypassword", click "join", look around, click "exit", click "create", hit "enter", wait 2 seconds - 1 minute, go secretcensoredstrat and beat the other person in under 10 minutes or lose spectacularly (or get extremely close to beating him when he decides to drop a couple of DTs in your base, and you, having no overlords there, decide to try to trade bases, only to have your last "censored" killed by his last scarab and not be able to wipe out his base in time with your 4 zerglings )).
