I took Plexus's great Europe Map and resized it, so now it is uber huge.
It may be too big but it may be good for a WW2 or WW1 NES.

It is located HERE because I fear it may be too big for the thread.

Fixed insane Panda bigger map... You can easily delete the countries I added :)

@ Erez

Almost perfect, except Chios and Miletos are connected, The Gulf of Corinth is nonexistent, and a few other things like Kythera not being there...and where's Euboea?

I suggest you take a look at my reference maps in the request thread to get a feel for the Greek landmass.

Though Erez, you have the range down perfectly, and it's easily colored!:goodjob:

BAH I just edited it in the meaning that now you can color it... I can't do world (or areas in world) maps by my own :o only edit them

Oh. Well, that's okay.:)

@Evrz; Athens should be east of your location, and troy well to the north of your position, inside the territory you gave to Byzantium

No, unfortunately Erez's isn't good. The Landmasses are real screwed up. It's my fault, I posted such a confusing map for you guys to work off of to start off with.:(

Here is a map of the Wheel of Time , i modified a bit and i clearead all the Nations, cities and roads with the ecxeption of Tar Valon , im thinking about making a wheel of time post breaking of the world NES someday :)

How goes the map, Insane? NEw Empires is probably dead, player interest dropped like a deadweight, so I wanna open stAmenNES3 - 'Greek City-States'

I know, the name of the next NES is incredibly lame, I'll think of something spiffy, like 'Go, tell the Spartans!'

hey, thats a pretty cool map. Never read the book(s) though.

Jason

Many books. Many books in which nothing happens. The background story is good, the early books are good, the later books are terrible. And the series is ten 800+ page books with no sign of ending.

That said, it's also an almost-perfect NES setting. There are a number of nations, a few separate organizations (Whitecloaks [who rule one country through a puppet king], Illuminators' Guild), a Mongol-esque invasion from over the sea, etc. In fact, I'm getting so excited that I may add nations in on that map on my day off on Thursday.

If that NES ever opens, I call Andor ;)

I've put cities and nations onto the Wheel of Time map out of boredom.

The nations are, clockwise from lower left, Tarabon, (empty space), Arad Doman, (empty space), Saldaea, Kandor, Arafel, Shienar, (empty space), Cairhien, (empty space), Tear, Mayene [little tiny nation in the lower right], (empty space), Illian, Altara, Amadicia. The others: Ghealdan is north of Amadicia along the mountains, Andor is the large central nation and Murandy is the small central nation.

(I had to resize it to show because the Uploads folder appears to be down. I have a full-size version as well.)

EDIT -- I left the city of Far Madding off the map, but it isn't very important anyway unless someone wants to revive Maredo...

@Amen: Heres another map idea for your NES, perhaps include southern italy, anatolia, and northern africa aswell, so we can show the whole classical world and if players want, they can choose egypt, persia, or early rome if they want. :)

Just a suggestion. I actually REALLY like how this map came out, and if you want a greece only map I can do that too, but might take a little longer as im trying to find a good greece map to work with.
