The color between all the black is 'transparent'. If it's turning into 'black', you have a problem. Try another image editor. In an emergency, press the PrintScreen key, and collage together the image.

On my screen it's black borders with a blue (the CFC style) background. What does it look like for you?

Then what the smeg???

Can you post screenshots of what this thread looks like? You can see from mine that it's transparent to me.

a believe one of them allows you to be an elitist and feel superior

andis, that's very nice, but I meant a screenshot OF MY MAP. All you've told me now is what color scheme you have.

Jason, Firefox is far safer, has tabbed browsing and extensions.

When you copy and paste a picture, anything "transparent" turns black. Make it al lwhite and we're in business. Then again I guess I could do printscreen, but you would have to copy and paste a lot of stuff.

You people have some messed up computers. I'm running IE, CFC default, and the map is black lines and text on a white background for me.

Of course it is. But now copy that image and paste it somewhere. Now it will be black.

In a word: no.

Modern World Map with Real Borders and Cities:

I colored the excellent Modern World Map (by Symphony and Panda) and added cities, in preparation for a modern NES I might attempt soon. However, I'm putting it up for general use, in case anybody needs a modern map (or is inspired to mod a modern NES in my stead ;) ).

I am indeed inspired. If Panda does not make me the 1900 map and stats soon I am starting a modern NES

Me, damnit. I found the bloody thing. :p

Seeing it in action in proper form for the first time, it looks sort of... children's atlas-y, but otherwise quite nice. Sadly it's the Balkhash-less version too. Oh well. I guess I could swap that in if I get some free time later today.

Maybe we should start a new map thread? This one is getting crowded, and when I go to search for a map, I have to go through 28 pages of posts.

So...anyone have the modern form of a mainly European map?
