Nation Background: After two leaders of the "Diamond Sword Empire" died in sucession, Cyrril Savar took over the government, established monarchy and renamed it to the Balkanese Empire. Currently he is trying to establish a Maximillianic-style "enlightened monarchy".
Balkanese Empire
The empire was no longer an empire,really...It was just a democracy...A party of nationalists,called the "Amonist Party" lead by "Amon Savar" son of "Amonov Savar",had been thriving on the lack of power gained by the democracy.It was time to return the Balkans into an actual power.An important piece of dirt on the face of the earth.It was time to turn the Balkanese Empire into Amonov's Balkans!
The Amonist party basically taught that Amonov Savar was the father of the Balkans...And since he has since passed away,and his son was there,that the balkan country as a whole should give thanks to the Amonov of old,and rename the country after him.Balkamonov,was what the new party had thought of,voted for,and then that's what it was.Therefore the Amonist party changed it's name to the "Balkamonov Nationalist Party"
This party then spread it's wings when reelection time came,and even though the past ruler,Cuivien,was a decent one,he didn't win the election.The son of Amonov Savar,Amon Savar had won on the vote.The people were just too wanting of another powerful reign,and their importance in the world to go up.
Their first move was to change the name of the country,then give the power to Amon,who was now basically the dictator of the country...But everyone respected him,and noone really had hard fealings towards him,except democratists,who were because of fear now that the army again patrolled the streets.But all in all,if you supported the new government under Amon,you were a happy individual.Everyone still had freedoms and crap,just a few were taken away,like the ones that allow rebelions to pop up.
The people were willing to give the government some of their freedoms,though,for the sake of greatness.
