On the savannah fields of Southern Africa, west of the portuguese holdings, as a congregation of people stand around gazing up at the towering bluffs. A man draped in feathers stands tall. He clutches his ivory tipped spear in hiss right hand.
The people begin to chant " Qwabe! Qwabe! Qwabe! Qwabe!"
There on the bluffs stood Qwabe Zulu. He smiled to himself. The spirits had foretold this day. The day southern Africa would be united under one banner was not faroff.
Qwabe cried out to the people, "This day my people, is the beggining of a new era for Africa. For thousands of years we have quarelled over this land. We have seen tribes massacred. And seen many rise. We have stood on the brink of our demise ourselves. But unlike the others we will not fail. We are strong and brave. You all this day will be remembered in history for ages to come. We will unite and build. We will construct massive structures to honor those spirits. We will build our military to be feared by all the world. We will not fail in our plite. Here on this very ground will rise our new home capital, Kwazulu.
The foreign powers of Portugal and France stand on our shores. If we do not unite who will stand for our freedom. One lion alone will soon sercome to his demise, but a pride of lions will be feared throughout the savannah and last for centuries. We are that pride. We are one. We will fight for our freedom in this land that the all powerful mother gave us. We are zulu.
The white man may think they are better. That they are more civilized and hold all great knowledge. That we are leaderless savages. But they do not know you. They do not know me. They do not know what we stand for, but they will. They will hear your voices and our cries. They will know who we are. They will not forget us, because we will never die. We are the brave, the honorable, the grand. We are the Zulu Empire."
A grand cheer erupted from the crowd. Cries for glory and expansion. For the great emperor and provider Qwaba Zulu.
Qwaba smiled to himself. It had begun. In the morning the sun would rise on a new land, a land built by Zulu.
