A New Era, A New Egypt
The kings advicers,though helpful,sometimes put him into a bad mood when they say his ideas are not worth the expense to try.But today is different.He has an idea that they cannot even deny is a good idea.Over the last few days he has been in deep thought sitting in Cairo over looking his people.And now he has called his advisors to his side.Four men walk in through a door behind the King,who is standing on a balconey over looking Cairo.The men stop and what seems to be the senoir advisor steps up.
"You majesty,you wanted to speak with us today?Concerning a mass project of sorts as I hear?" said Senoir Advisor Muhammed.
The king turns and looks at the men,with a smile on his face he replies.
"Yes,Muhammed,I have a grand Idea.One that I am sure everyone will appreciate." replied the King.
Puzzeled the advisors look on.
"But sir what do you mean?" spoke up one of the other advisors.
"You all know that the life line of Northern Eygpt is the Nile.It brings all trade down threw the desert.It supplies the precious water we use for farming.It is indeed the blood of our great land." said the King.
"But ofcourse." said one.
"So whats your plan?"
"Well,Muhammed,I plan for a mass canal project.Not just one but multiple smaller cannels.Ones that are not meant for large ships.Only small trading boats and mainly water,I devised the idea,if we want people to live in the lands with no water.Bring the water to them.Its all quite simple really.We will make outer parts of the Sahara desert into rich farmland.It will definatly help the Egyptian economy.Don't you all agree?"
"Well yes,your majesty.I beleive we can all agree to that.But a project of this size would cost Millions of dollars.[1]"
"Well let it be done,the outcome from the project will increase our income.We will get our money back gentlemen.So I hope you can start htis project.And get it off the gorund.Starting tommorrow.Now get otu of here,I have to talk to some Penguin...I mean I need to take a nap.
