...Aaaaand let's not forget that the signature dish of Italy - pasta with tomato sauce - wasn't invented until tomatoes were brought from south america... Hot dogs were based on a German dish... French fries are Belgian... Fortune Cookies are American... Ireland's 'national identity' wasn't possible until it was brought from South America...
