There is something very weird going with AI throwing accusation of player spreading in their territory. Here is why:

- I founded city, not intentionally very near Carthage (it was hidden in the fog of war) and they shoot me a warning, they weren't only one but that doesn't matter.

- Fifty or so turns later it declared war, trying to take that city. I was not amazed by AI because in first attempt it tried to take a city with one of it's special ships and a horseman, while my city had 10 defense score. War dragged on and on without sign of peace and city wasn't even scratched (it kept throwing at me, one by one, horseman units, ships, occasional spear man .... I didn't even put effort to defend city).

-Anyhow, I got carried away, so after seemingly forever it offered white peace deal and I signed, however turn later it again shoot warning to not settle near him. I was like "ok, what a heck, does it want not" and then I apologized. As turns were going on, we eventually declared DoF and then ...

-It didn't last even 10-15 turns before it again shoot me a warning about how I broke a promise to not settle near them and I haven't built a city in period since they sent me second warning to the point they accused me of breaking promise.

Well... Dido is crazy :D

Chiming in to say that I *like* the "at war" glow, and would love it if it stayed.

This sort of thing-- the AI yelling at me for settling when I haven't settled -- is happening to me, too.

I'm 90% sure it triggers when THEY settle cities, too.

Which is fine, actually, but change the message if that's what's going on.

It could mean something like: "you settled in the area where I was intending to settle ". Not that I think that AI can plan like that for tens of turns in prior for settling. But it sounds more human.

But whatever the cause is for AI's yelling not to buy tiles/settle close to them, it would have been better if the mechanic was more transparent for the player. Especially in the case when their cities are not even close to spots where the player settles. Some warning before settling could help not to break promises you don't want to. But this I understand is more of a problem/issue as result of how the base Civ 5 game is designed.

In my current game, I was at war with the Iroquois and about to take Grand River when Hiawatha sold his city to arabia a few turns before I would have been able to capture it. Arabia and Hiawatha do NOT have a DoF and after checking InfoAddict, it seems like the only deal between the two civs is Hiawatha GIVING gold to Arabia.

Don't you need a DoF to trade cities?

Maybe it was a peace-deal?

Great changes once again, liking the Stonehenge +1 Culture. I'm still not going to be building this one (no way I'll take a badly scaling wonder when each wonder increases further wonder costs by a lot) but at least the AI who gets it will be more rewarded.

I don't find the clutter very disturbing (until you get like 8-10 cities and good growth, at that point it is no longer so good), but it'd be cool if the Pop born yield icon was of a different colour than green, perhaps yellow.

Still liking the new science system but perhaps Barracks should be +1Science+1Production instead of +2Science and that missing +1Science should go to Monument to further decrease the need for teching Science buildings?

Anyway, I still think God of the Sun (+1Faith+1Culture per Wheat, +2Food per Granary) needs a buff, as it stands there's no reason to ever get this one even if you start surrounded by wheat. It should get an additional +1F+1C per Granary I think, or something for each 2 Farms worked, or dunno.

Funny enough, in my current China game with this build I built Stonehenge, and took God of the Sun. Just kind of funny how that works out.

Since when this can happen, so early in the game ?

Spoiler :
Untitled.png

This happened in my current game FAR earlier. I want to say less than 50 turns in.

And I didn't mind it at all, was just an interesting quirk as far as I was concerned.

No, it wasn't that. They were on opposite sides of the map and were not at war...

And they did not happen to have a DoF that expired? Or did he give the city in a peace-deal to someone else who sold it to that guy?

With 15/3 here is also closing randomly. Sometimes in a few turns. and sometimes in the late game. Close everything and goes to desktop. I found that increasing the display settings this occurs more often. So I'm playing without activating anti-aliasing filters activated. It is helping but still, every three games, at least in a match closes everything. With anti-aliasing active happens in every game.

I'm using EUI, but in previous versions of CP that did not happen ever, only /w this 3/15. Btw... It may be a conflict of the new version of EUI also ... one of the two.
