It happens to me several times, that an AI declares war but doesnt attack nor sends units to my borders. So there's war for turns but no fighting.

Ditto. Before, when an AI declared war, either it was a bribe -unprepared AI- or I would find an army at my doors immediately. Now, there doesn't appear to be a logic to it. A DoW and no enemy units in a mile from any of my cities.

Not sure when the change occurred.

1. In the first minute, Marbozir is able to enact Trade Agreements even though he hasn't finished researching Education yet. His interlocutors have, though, I'm guessing. It's happened to me before, too;

2. 25:45, during the peace deal with England, the valuation of cities appears outrageous. 3787 for York, a 10 pop city; 327 for Nottingham, a 14 pop city! What explains the disparity? I know you upped the values of cities in this version, so I assume these numbers wouldn't reproduce exactly, but still.

Probably an oddity caused by Nottingham having no luxuries and generally producing a bunch of happiness.


In general I would really not encourage you to report things based on something you've watched on youtube. In this case the information is fairly accurate, and with Gazebo having commented on multiple videos, one could assume he'd get the information anyways (watching let's plays is G's dirty pleasure).
A lot of times however many of the reports seems to stem from the player misinterpreting something and then feeling the need to appear knowledgeable, something goes not quite as planned, mob-mentality among the watchers kick in and suddenly you have a bunch of bug/imbalance reports from people that haven't even played the game and have no idea what they are talking about.

In this case the information is fairly accurate, and with Gazebo having commented on multiple videos, one could assume he'd get the information anyways (watching let's plays is G's dirty pleasure).
A lot of times however many of the reports seems to stem from the player misinterpreting something and then feeling the need to appear knowledgeable, something goes not quite as planned, mob-mentality among the watchers kick in and suddenly you have a bunch of bug/imbalance reports from people that haven't even played the game and have no idea what they are talking about.

Uh? You're broadcasting to the wrong person. Clearly I have played the game, and quite extensively. Those incidents weren't even commented on by Marbozir or anyone in the comments - I alone made the observations. If I had to report on every aspect newbs found confusing/unbalanced about CBP, I'd be at it all day.

I'm just saying that in general reporting things of youtube is bad.

Another thing, progress yields popups are too crowded, I had like 8 each turn. Is there a way to combine all the bonus yields for constructing a building(That progress policy)?

Last one, it seems like ranged ships early game are too strong, but that maybe just me.

Edit: Is there a chance to tweak AI city giving logic, because they seem to give them easily after winning a war. I captured Ethiopia's city, and they seceded and gave me another one, remaining with only one. Maybe make it that they will never trade their 3 first cities, especially if they are going Tradition.

Any tips for debugging a CTD? Logs doesn't have anything earth shattering.

I know it's on Spain's turn. I know it's repeatable.

I know that Spain in the logs has taken actions, including sending workers to plots on this turn. Anyway to drill down into what action has caused the CTD?

With repeatable CTDs that are using the CPP codebase, a save would be the most helpful, assuming you don't have other mods.

Thanks. Decided just to keep going back in turns until it didn't repeat, I'm past it.

And 15 turns later, another CTD on Spain's turn. Spain needs to knock it off.

Well it happened again many turns later on Spain's turn. I got to see the last action during the CTD (as it was in my territory)

They just converted my city with a missionary when it happened. Going to reload the turn and do it again and see if it repeats.

Edit: It's something to do with unit movements on Spain's turn. That seemed to be the same situation as last time. Going to dive in and see if the last movement in the log is the same message as before.

Edit 2: Looks normal, must be directly after it then...
