New Civilization which I would like to see in game

Joseph Brant. :D

Correction, Thayendanegea.
Using the name Joseph Brant for a Native American leader would confuse people. :p

I don't care which name they used; he answered to both of them. :p

I think I rather have no more North Amerindian Civs added.....I don't want to experience another Cree controversy again. :( And read more comments judging NAs for their lifestyle or lack of "civilization". I get it, they can't compare to Rome, Greece or Egypt in terms of monuments or technological advancements. They were Stone Age peoples.

In Civ7, North America should only have America and Canada as Civs.....

I don't recall the Cree controversy being too big of an incident. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the 1 Cree leader who started this basically said that he thought it was offensive of Cree history and values to be able to play them as conquerors. I also thought the consensus here was that his argument didn't hold much weight to it, that Firaxis did consult with the Cree (specifically Poundmaker's family) in making this civ, and that this could've been used as a way to get media attention and support for Poundmaker's exoneration.

Hopefully the people who think of all Native Americans as Stone Age peoples will change their minds when learning of the power, organization, artistry, and fun leaders of some of those groups, especially the ones in the Northeast and PNW. I think the Cree were a good addition for the economic influence they had.

Also agreed on getting the Iroqouis back as a returning civ. It doesn't sound like there was ever any issues adding them before so I'd be shocked if one came up now. Joseph Brant or even Jigonhsasee would be good choices in my book.

But I think the native one is better than the English one. :p He was vilified by the Americans during the American Revolution as "Monster Brant". It might be why he hasn't been added to Civ. He was strangely absent in Assassin's Creed 3 (to think of it, none of the historical Iroquois leaders were present in that game, for cultural reasons?).

I actually like Stone Age people very much and that sounded like it would devalue those :p

Jokes aside, I think the Cree controversy was actually not existent. It was a inner-political struggle in Canada catalyzed by Firaxis, but not because of their fault. I would just ignore it in their position. They should have a good conscience for the way they portrayed the Cree, given what a civ game traditionally allows mechanically. If Firaxis would not have been an American company, and the forums to a large part Canadians and Americans (which all have that "base guilt" when it comes to Native Americans, similar to, but weaker like we Germans have with the jews which we make a cornerstone of our history) the controversy would have ended after one day.

Excluding the leaked civs to Gathering Storm (Incas, Mali ...), my top 15 civs to be added in the future are these, in order:

1- Maya
2- Ethiopia
3- Babylon
4- Portugal
5- Byzantines
6- Morocco
7- Assyria
8- Italy
9- Navajo (or other of this region, like Apache)
10- Austria
11- Siam
12- Argentina
13- Vietnam
14- Ashanti
15- Muisca (or other native of South America)

My top7 civs to receive second leader are these, also in order (excluding France and England, maybe Eleanor of Aquitaine leads both):

1- Egypt
2- China
3- Arabia
4- Germany
5- Russia
6- India (yes, again)
7- Sumeria

This is almost exactly my top ten though not in the same order, other than I'd prefer Colombia over Morocco.
These have a good chance of being in the third expansion, however I'm afraid Austria won't make the cut right now because of Hungary and if we add Italy along with Germany it might be too much. However Maria Theresa would make an interesting alt leader, and I think I'd rather like the idea of adding her that way, though I don't know how historically accurate it would be.
Also I think we will get either Babylon or Assyria.

I find Morocco quite interesting and would like to have in all civ editions. I think an Islamic nation of Maghreb should be regular. I would not mind having the Almohad Caliphate, I think it would be interesting as well.

I think for this time around it might be more interesting to have maybe a pre-Islamic Berber nation like Numidia, but they would still be down on my list of necessity Civs that I would like to see.

The Numidian language is poorly attested. But I guess they can make Masinissa speak some modern Berber language....

Armenia, Ahanti/Benin, Bulgaria, Burma, Colombia/Venezuela, Gaul, Hausaland/Nigeria, Ireland, Italy, Judea, Khazaria/Tatarstan, Kievan Rus', Kilwa, Malaysia, Mitanni, Muscogee, Navajo, Tibet, Tlingit/Haida, Uzbekistan/Timurids, Vietnam, Wallachia

There are still plenty of options left for worthy new civs

The unfortunate reality is that until ~50 years ago people of African descent in the New World have been at a severe sociopolitical disadvantage, in many cases even below that of the indigenous people of the New World. It would be better for Firaxis to focus on black civilizations in Africa.
Of course, we don't have that many options of black civilizations in the Americas, Actually, I rly want Haiti to fill this gap but have three other civilizations that also can be Afro-American civs.

First. Quilombo dos Palmares (Or Palmares for short) was the second most successful slave revolts in America (just after Haiti), began around ~1620 in North-East Brazil when the Dutch start invade Brazilian cities in this area. And just was overtake over in 1710.... almost a hundred year. The most famous leader of this kingdom called Zumbi (Yes, the word Zumbi is a Bantu word that means "Who never dies"... good name for a warrior king). Before Zumbi, Palmares had a leader called Ganga Zumba (Who means Great leader) and he leads this kingdom in his golden age. Before Ganga Zumba we also have a woman called Dandara, We don't know much about her but she also can fill the gap of women leaders in Civilization.

Second. Moskito from Nicaragua (Caribean coast). They are mixing race between Africans and Mayas and have his own king until today, they survive with British help (who wants to diminish the Spanish power in the area at the time). T
The third is similar to the second, The Garifuna is also a mixing race, but between Africans and Caraibas. Some people believe they are descendent of the Mali voyage for the new world around ~1400. But the fact is, when the British arrive in Caribbean islands they took this population and drop they in Honduras (Very close to Moskito kingdom). And nowadays they are friends.

I've heard of the Moskito before, I think in 80 Days Around the World (the game).

Miskitos aren't a mix between Africans and Mayas. The Miskito language is classified as a Misumalpan language (possibly distantly related to the Chibchan languages), as opposed to a Mayan language.
