New Civs for Civ V?

I think more European countries, Venice would be cool, also some Eastern European ones. Also some ancient Near-East civs, I'm thinking Israel /Judaea, and Phoenecia.

In that case, it's best if you merge some of the ideas from CivCol, with Civ V so that maybe your colonies can revolt to form a new empire.

So the new civs could possibly be: Mughals, Benin, Phoenicians, Armenians, Hittites.

Huh? Let's take a look at that top 10 (UN's Human Development Index)

1. Norway
2. Australia
3. Iceland
4. Canada
5. Ireland
6. Netherlands
7. Sweden
8. France
9. Switzerland
10. Japan

As far as I can tell, it would seem that only two of those top 10 are in the game (France ad Japan). You could perhaps count Iceland, Norway and Sweden if the Vikings are included, but they aren't really the same. And still it would only be five out of ten.

I don't agree that they should be added to the game, though. Only wanted to point out that they aren't already there.

But really, the game is called Civilization, yeah sure it can have a few empires but adding independent countries will make the game a bit strange, I'm not opposed to the idea though because countries such as the Netherlands did have an impact on the world.
But again, I'm not opposed to the idea.

I agree with all civs other than Macedonia. Much of Greece's culture was generated by the City-States. Macedonia only united the full peninsula and conquered Persia as a united people. Athens also united the Greeks (except for the Peloponnesian League and SPARTA). Anyways, you can hopefully just change the name of the civ in the Editor if you want to.

The Scots, Phoenicians, Swiss (but Europe is already quite crowded), Assyrians (arguably the first empire in the world), Swedes, ach can't think of anything else at this point, oh yeah, I'd like to see the Khmer again.
Oh yeah, Native American tribes:

• Pueblo

I think that covers about every region in North America, oh yeah the Inuit
