This was just linked on the @civgame Twitter account.

They show late game purity in action.

There is an orbital bombardment satellite called the Planet Carver.

There is a Tier 3 Knowledge Virtue called Technoartisans. 25% of Culture converted to science.

One of the upper Tier ranged cavalry or maybe artillery units for Purity is called the Punisher.

The Purity Aegis unit is described as ranged support and anti-infantry.

I didn't post this here cause I was almost sure that this video was shown somewhere else before.

I thought so too at first. I've seen stills from it but there is a lot of stuff here that I haven't seen in the fandom yet, like the orbital bombardment satellite.

Also, Gamespot(who is video recording the mega panel today) just linked it as well. The upload date is today. I think this is new.

Huh. Watch at 1:35 to 1:45. When the satellite was launched, health decreased by 6. Interesting.

And another thing!

We've seen a satellite while playing as Supremacy apparently able to beam units across the map. Pretty cool. We've also now seen a satellite (playing as Purity) able to bombard enemy units. Might these be advanced level Affinity satellites? I mean, not that they are restricted to a particular affinity, but that the leaf tech that makes them available grants one type of affinity points? If so, what might a Harmony satellite be? Miasma Spreader? Alien Spore Pods?

Probably because the change in tile yield caused the City ai to reprioritize how it worked its citizens. If you pause while they're hovering over the Terrascape improvement, you'll notice it actually yields 1 unhealthiness; if the change in yield caused 3 citizens that worked tiles that yielded health to work those instead, the health would decrease.

Quite possibly, but given the way its going we won't see that for another month at least. *Not sore about the lack of harmony coverage at all*

Pretty weird to have an electronic voice for a Purity faction but... ok. Main takeaway is that satellites can be used for military, and it seems that most units have both ranged and melee combat capabilities.

Chris Watters, who hosted the mega panel, tweeted that there is a satellite that can rain down miasma on your enemies. That'd be your Harmony satellite, I bet.

I think it's apt. Purity adherents are not luddites, even more so because they don't want to change themselves they require the aid of technology more than any other factions.

Supremacy adherents don't need AIs, their brains are already modified to make complex calculations by themselves.
Those who actually need the support of AIs are humans.

Nice video. Although personally I would prefer less comic, more realistic combat units (yeah I know FAR FUTURE but still)

Also, I'd like to see some video with truly Epic war. I mean, dozens of units of various types, huge mechs, mass weaponry, satellites, combat across the map etc. So far we still see either 'few human and alien units beat themselves' or 'few tanks and soldiers shoot' :D

It's like showing us videos of Civ5 with turn 20 barbarian battles over and over and finally showing us fight of 3 knights and two pikemen :D

Hm I guess I have too high requirements. But don't worry Firaxis, I am still your guaranteed fan and customer :D

After watching it with more attention it gets even weirder, the electronic voice is not for a Purity faction, its from a wonder
When the diplomacy window appears it lists Master Control as one of the wonders, and the title of the video is just that.
The burning question is, it is just promotional material or there is actually an wonder that is a super ai that gives strategic bonus to combat or something like that

I guess it's just promotional - so we shouldn't even get into how it doesn't make sense for Purity to have an AI helping them out. Well, actually, only it does - like someone said, they need to outsource more than any other affinity because they're not changing humanity at a biological level.

Koslov sounded Russian - but then again I'm no Russian speaker. For a foreigner it did at least. Too bad I didn't get to listen to Rejinaldo as the Portuguese voiceover for BNW (both for Pedro and Maria) was definitely one of the best in the Civ V series. Whoever was in charge of the casting for the Portuguese/Brazilians got it pretty well.
