New combat video Aug. 30

After watching it with more attention it gets even weirder, the electronic voice is not for a Purity faction, its from a wonder
When the diplomacy window appears it lists Master Control as one of the wonders, and the title of the video is just that.
The burning question is, it is just promotional material or there is actually an wonder that is a super ai that gives strategic bonus to combat or something like that

Master Control is a real in-game wonder that represents an advanced AI computer able to assist with the administration of your faction. I think the voice is clearly just a clever marketing gimmick, a way of promoting the game and tie into the game's features at the same time. But I think it would be really cool if the voice were also used for the tutorial tips.

Terrascape tile form the video:
Built on a grassland tile and a plains tile, both with same :c5food:2:c5production:2:c5culture:2 and -1 health yield with :c5gold:9 maintenance.

Master control could be quite interesting as a sort of super spy agency

It gives you advanced warning of an enemy attack or maybe it just drops a look here cross and brings stuff to the players attention.....

I'm hoping that improves with different technologies, because that seems pretty bad. (Or culture is Really good.

I agree that something seems to be wrong with this tile improvement. Why should anyone build a tile improvement with -health (if every health point supports up to 3 or more citizens that could work many tiles) and such a huge maintanance cost. If anything the terrascape should improve health.

Maybe it's needed to build the VC Wonder ?

We don't quite know the pop-city-health relationship yet.
However, I agree it should improve health.
That's why I think the improvement may improve with tech or buildings or time (like towns in civ4).

It doesn't say -1 health in the tooltip. The health icon is just red.

The tooltip does seem to display the yields of the hex, so...

We do not know if the "red" health icon means - health, or it is just a way to show health.

Therefore, it can be either +1 or -1 yield, and by the voiceover ("these gardens are a delight four or people") seems more reasonable it is +1.

BTW, not seen it mentioned: note the video starts centered in the "black rectangle" next to cidadela. ¿Do you think this means this rectangular building is Master Control?

Since the shown faction only has 2 wonders (aside from palace and spy center) and it looks very supremacy-style, i'd assume that would be the case.

While it could be +1 health, the fact that its red means its likely -1, as in other videos, the health marker was red when it was in the negative. Furthermore, when the tile yield of the terrascape increased due to a satellite, overall health decreased from 6 to 0, likely to to the ai reassigning workers to the terrascape. Still, it does mean that the unhealthiness is only a problem if the tile is worked, meaning it my have some other benefits, such as enabling certain Purity aligned buildings in a nearby city, or acting as beneficial terrain for combat.

As I can see from the last video released, the "black rectangol" seems to be defined "Phasal Transporter".
Who knows more?!

Phasal Transporter is a type of satellite, so definitily isn't the black rectangel, it definitly seems to be a wonder, we just don't know which one, Master Control or Stellar Codex

Now we know what the Master Control wonder gives: +1 culture, +1 movement to worker units and free network building in city in which it is built. :)
